I have been to Dos Agaves more times than I can count and have always had great experiences. This is my favorite restaurant in Knoxville at any price range and the prices are extremely reasonable. The service has always been exceptional and after sampling a wide variety of menu options, I have never had a meal that was less than outstanding. They also offer amazing drinks at reasonable prices, especially the margaritas and micheladas. It’s also worth noting that they have always been willing to customize the menu to suit my wife’s dietary restrictions without any upcharges. I would highlight a few dishes as standouts, and the quesabirria tacos may be the best thing I have ever eaten. The chile verde is another standout, as are the street tacos, tamales, and the chiles rellenos. My wife and I have a tradition of eating here every Friday and we both look forward to it every single week.

2/15/26 We had a party of 12 and 1 baby it was 12am after church. I called for a reservation so we were immediately seated but while on the phone i had to repeat my reservation 5 times with 2 different people. When we ordered food me and my boyfriend got the same thing 3 steak enchiladas cheese sause ontop with no veggies and rice. He had a dr.pepper. when the food came everyone got everything but we did not get our rice, this is the 2nd time this has happened. I was basically yelling across the table for him to hear me 3 separate times 1 time he was across from me. I was yelling for rice and everytime he would look at me and walk away, my boyfriends drink was also empty yet he offered a refill for the people across of us and didnt notice his drink was empty. We finally got a refill on his drink but no rice. I do love this restaurant but i dont feel like i should be yelling for then to hear me notice me and walk away. Other than that the experience was good like always this was just the 2nd time that had happened. I do understand a little bit because the table was loud and alot of people and alot to do.

Can’t say enough about this location! It was exactly what I was craving the flavors the portions the Service, the expansive menu the facility the ambiance… everything was fantastic! Top shelf margarita absolutely delicious and on point Carnitas tacos, Amazing, salsa, chips, delicious, taquitos beans and rice perfectly flavored everything was top notch…& I couldn’t help but noticed they were very well staffed with plenty of help and everybody was in a great mood. Everybody was working together and appeared to truly enjoy their work and each other’s company as well as their customers… which is the recipe for success! Juan was my server and he was gracious helpful friendly and well just above and beyond! ❤️ Will be back probably every time I’m in town lol! Frequent flyer miles here I come!!!

Delicious authentic Mexican food. Large portions and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Decor is festive. Our waiter on both occasions was professional and attentive. I can’t remember the last time I actually had a dining experience that didn’t warrant at least one complaint. Not here. I’ve been two days in a row, and I can’t wait to go back.

We tried them or today for the first time for lunch and we had a good experience. Our parking was easy to get into the restaurant and we found the service staff to be al at the top of their game. Our order of Fajitas and burritos was excellent. I found the restaurant and their bathrooms very clean. This is a place we will come back to for dinner

3 stars only because my girlfriend is deathly allergic to avocados and something in her food was cross contaminated and she had an allergic reaction. The food was very good though as well as the service. Be careful if you have any kind of allergies to avocado or anything.

Stopped here as it was the closest place to our Hotel in Knoxville. My wife and I enjoyed our dinner very much. Everything was cooked perfectly and arrived hot. Service was quite good, it was super busy. The chips and salsa were excellent, and our meals were fantastic as well.
