A lovely and tasty oasis in a remote part of the Louisiana coast. We were worried about finding one last Cajun meal before leaving Louisiana, and we’re thankful that we found this place and it was still open. We forgot to order a dr. Pepper (because you can’t have a point without a dr. Pepper!) and they gave us one on the house.

The burger was very good! Service was fast. We sat outside at one of the covered picnic tables and enjoyed our delicious burgers. There is no indoor seating. They had a building that one of the hurricanes destroyed. Right in the heart of Cameron.

Food was tasty and cooked well. The amount of food you get for the money is not there. 16 bucks for 7 shrimp and a half order of fries was disappointing. It will do in a pinch but I hate to give a company money that doesn’t care about potions.

Everything was so delicious. Definitely worth the Ferry ride over from Holly Beach. (Look for dolphins near the ferry!)
Fried Shrimp Poboy was perfection and the Soft Shelled Crab is the best I’ve ever eaten. Ill be thinking about it forever. Lol

Hole in the walls have the best food. Shrimp poppers have a kick but I wouldn’t expect anything less from a place being on the water. Catfish is some of the best I’ve had. When I’m on the trail again I will be stopping again.

There aren’t too many choices to eat around and we opted to stop here. We had the daily special which was sausage with red gravy over rice and a grilled shrimp po’boy.
Both were delicious! Fast and friendly service. I would recommend.
