Bodega Rose was a great place to go with friends. They have mains but also a tapas style menu where you can try a variety of dishes if you go with some friends. Everything was delicious. We recommend the beet salad and meatballs.

my second visit and it was not a great experience. The spaghetti lacked flavour. The meatballs were flavourless and so overdone they were hard as a rock. My friend ordered the spicy rigatoni and asked in advance how spicy it was. She said not spicy and when it came she could barely eat it and it was served on a small plate? The service was so odd. First the waitress was TOO attentive standing over us to make a decision and then when I asked her to give us a quick moment to decide she left and was basically non existent the rest of the evening. After our meal she finally came over maybe 20 minutes after we had finished and asked if we wanted our bills. No mention of coffee tea or dessert. We asked for coffee and a dessert menu and she looked perplexed and then when we asked for sugar she looked at us like we had 10 heads. Brought us a SHOT GLASS filled with table sugar and one spoon. We shared dessert. No side plates no utensils nothing Oddest dining experience in some time. Won’t be back

Super yummy food. Appetizers were super delicious. Drinks were absolutely unique and tasty. The mains were exquisite. The restaurant uses beef tallow to fry ALL their food, which is a huge plus for our family since we don’t eat any fried food at all due to inflammatory seed oils. As of now, this restaurant just became our favorite restaurant in kw and Cambridge. Will be back again soon!

We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was attentive and timely. The decor and ambience are very well done with high attention to detail. Booths or perhaps some high back chairs might enhance intimate dining but the space is certainly not crammed.
Drinks and food: The cocktails were excellent. We ordered two appetizers, a side, and a main for a tapas style meal. Each was very good and the jerk chicken skillet was stellar.
Highly recommend and will be back again.

I got the pesto burrata and it was amazing the presentation was Instagram worthy. I also loved the sauce and the mixture of the burrata and pesto pasta was perfect. Given that it’s hard to find burrata I am a fan.
I also tried my friend’s mushroom gnocchi and the texture of the gnocchi was perfect. The white sauce and the flavours make it the best pasta I have had in Waterloo. Give it a shot especially if you like washroom.
The ambience made me feel like I was in a European palace with interesting music. A nice place to have good conversations.

A birthday party for mom. Service was friendly, prompt and professional. They had our table for 18 ready, with only minutes between the first order and final presented to us. Had to return to pick up a forgotten item and, despite being closed, was kindly assisted by the kitchen to get the item.

The food tasted really authentic. We had Mushroom Gnochhi, Marinated and Sliced Flank Steak and the Prosciutto wrapped Scallops for food and Capuccino and Raspberry Sunset for drinks. All of them tasted really good and worth the price! Would definitely go in again

Had an amazing Saturday brunch here and the food was awesome. The restaurant was clean and nicely appointed with comfortable seating. The waitress was just attentive enough so that she could check in on us during the meal, but let us enjoy our company as ming as we wanted. The food was excellent and came out in a timely manner. The Brunch menu is lovely and has lots of choices….oh and you have to try the cheesecake, it was more than we needed after brunch, but we finished it. Next time I’m trying dinner. Great place.
