The food was great! The pollo playa was the cheesiest I have ever had. It’s was great! The chips tasted stale and the salsa was not cold. The salsa was nasty. The server sucked did not come give me a refill I had to ask. It took her a little bit to come to me to order and get chips. They were not that busy either. Other than a sucky server this is a great place to eat. My first time eating her as I deliver DoorDash many times from this place.

The food was amazing, but the service here is terrible. The waitress we had was very rude and inconsistent. It took 10mins for our drinks to be refilled and almost 20mins to get more chips and salsa (the chips were stale) so I’d say the overall experience was not good!!

As someone who is born and raised in Texas and currently lives there I do approve of the salsa and chips ( It matters) my friends both got the steaks and that was the best t bone steak I’ve ever had and I don’t eat steak anywhere not even Texas Roadhouse! I highly recommend the steak my expectations are high simply because I am from Texas so my review for the food isn’t valid here because this is only what some of you know it’s going to be good Texas Mexican is way better of course service was good steak was better!

My husband picked up lunch to-go for me today: chicken and rice with cheese dip on top. You know how sometimes there are those bad strips of chicken with the gristle or just not good pieces when you order this at some Mexican restaurants? Well this order had ALL perfect white meat strips of chicken!!! I scraped the styrofoam clean enjoying every bite, and I will return!! Thank you Mex-I-Can for the high quality chicken!!!! The salsa was really cold too. I love cold salsa.
