Highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant. The food is very good and the employees are very friendly. It is located in a very depressed safe downtown neighborhood. If you’re traveling to the beach and you want to have a great meal spend a little time and look this place up.

One kiddo got the grilled chicken sandwich and loved it. I ordered the fried green tomato BLT and it was so good! Each of my kids chose a slice of cake, they said the salted Carmel was good but the chocolate layered cake was their favorite!
Our server was so kind, quick and attentive. Zero complaints, would stop here again!

I grew up in Bennettsville , but been living in Las Vegas since 1991. I visit the Carolinas about every 2 to 3 years now to see family and friends. I remember when this used to be the Sanitary Cafe and Harry ran the place. He had a small display case with some of his old military stuff in it from when he was in World War 2. I was happy to see the stainless steel wall cover still there behind the counter.
I met a friend of mine for lunch on my way to Myrtle Beach. We’ve been friends since 3rd Grade ! I had the Country Ham Plate with Mac-n-Cheese , Mashed Potatoes and Gravy , Roll , and Sweet Tea. He had the Patty Melt with Fries. I love getting Country Ham when I come home to visit because we can’t get it in Las Vegas. It was good , but I have to say the portion was a little smaller than I expected. The Mashed Potatoes and Gravy was good , but the Mac-n-Cheese I didn’t really care for. Sweet Tea was on point.
My friend liked his Patty Melt and fries. He knew our waitress and she was nice enough to take a picture of us. Bennettsville is still the small town community that I remember and grew up in. I would love to see it grow again like many places have even though all the jobs moved away years ago when the factories moved overseas. My father and I walked the streets of Bennettsville everyday after he got off work and we visited many of the shopkeepers after his first heart attack to give him some exercise. He grew up in Bennettsville and never moved as many of the people that he grew up with. Bennettsville was a tight knit community then and I know the ones that I grew up with still have this place in their heart even being thousands of miles away like me.

Came for lunch and stayed for dessert. Cool downtown diner feel with friendly countertop service. I’ve never had deviled egg pasta salad but it was good, the chips were killer, and went well with the pimento cheese. Fresh Baked cakes with new daily flavors the flagship cake is 15 layers, and it’s darn good.

Love love love this place, if love was a place it would be here, my soul will rest here till the end of time, love this place so much and this is a heartfelt message to anyone who is doubting if they should go here, this place is a game changer if you are planning on having a good day. This place is a coffee heaven, service was AMAZING and the atmosphere is chef kiss and the food here- omg i thought that I have ate good food before but this place changed my perspective of good food. I adore this place and the people here and the waiter (crystal) is the best waiter in the world I feel at home here.

Nice quite place. Staff was super friendly. I had the daily special which was two fried pork chops covered and rice, covered with gravy and grape salad…all of it was delicious..other guest had the same except replaced the salad with a deviled egg salad..it was quick as well. Best burger I’ve had in a long time out to eat thick and juicy cooked perfectly the bun held up which is a rarity with a juicy burger the pineapple cake for dessert was amazing as were the onion rings with dinner my server was fantastic she put up with my antics and kept on smiley very attentive my total bill was $50 not bad for three adults all with dessert
