I am visiting this wonderful restaurant for the second time all the way from New York, and I truly want to say that such exceptional service and such delicious food are rare — even in New York City.
Today I had an absolutely incredible beet and shrimp salad. It was perfectly balanced, fresh, and full of flavor. I highly recommend it!
Grace provided the highest level of service — attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. She made the experience even more special.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and will be more than happy to return again

Our server Cameron was amazing. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect. We had oxtail tortellini along with salmon in a honey Cajun glaze. Salmon was cooked perfectly. The tortellini was stuffed with potato and cheese. Homemade lentil soup and amazing signature cocktails

I had one of the worst dining experiences at this restaurant. We travelled to Buffalo for a short trip and were excited to try some local food. I ordered a medium-rare steak, but it arrived almost well-done. The server offered to remake it, and despite the long wait, I agreed, especially since this is not an inexpensive restaurant. My friend’s pierogies were also undercooked on the edges.
The replacement steak then arrived raw in the middle and only seared on the outside. When I asked if it could be cooked a bit more, the chef or manager came out, stared at me through his glasses, and insisted that the first steak had been “the perfect medium-rare.” The server added, in a lecturing tone, “for your future reference, that was the perfect medium-rare steak.”
He eventually brought out a properly cooked medium-rare steak (as shown in the photo attached) but continued to stare at me the entire time, making the interaction uncomfortable and unprofessional.
Overall, the food was poorly prepared, and the attitude from the staff made the experience even worse. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Very nice place but it was dead so our server was great but a little over attentive. The Chez salad, beet salad, filet with pea puree and the Margherita pizza were all great!

A quiet night out but that meant David, our server, was very attentive. The terrace was a comfortable space to enjoy a great meal.
The bahn mi appetizer was amazing! So flavorful
We enjoyed the oxtail tortellini and the braised short rib. Both were prepared perfectly and so tasty.
The bartender took care of us, too, and made a delicious lemon drop.
Can’t wait to get back there again soon.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The food was amazingly flavorful and beautifully presented. David, our server was superb. We will be back great music playing, beautiful space just wonderful.

We had Valentine’s Day dinner reservations and arrived about ten minutes early. Despite visible open tables, we were told to return in 30 minutes.
Once seated downstairs, service remained inconsistent. I ordered a whiskey I had just had at the rooftop bar and was told it was unavailable. My partner ordered a drink that was also available upstairs, yet staff had difficulty accommodating the request. The waitress was not accommodating and only became somewhat attentive near the end of the meal.
We spent over $1,000 on dinner. The food quality and service did not justify the cost. Overall, this experience did not meet the standards expected for fine dining, and I would not recommend it

Had a great experience at Chez Ami, sitting at the bar. My bartender, Nick, was absolutely fantastic — attentive, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful in crafting what is now officially my future favorite drink of all time: the Smokin Dream. He took care with the process and made the experience feel personal, not rushed. Date of attendance 1.6.27 between 5:30-8 pm
The host, Cameron, was also wonderful — welcoming and kind, adding to the overall positive vibe of the evening.
Great music, great service, and a cocktail experience I’ll definitely be back for.

Great place to get a drink with a nice ambiance. We absolutely loved the rotating bar. It is a unique experience for sure. I really enjoyed that they offered sangria made with sparking wine.
The bathrooms are kept very clean. I will definitely be back and 100% recommend if visiting Buffalo.

Our friend was staying at the hotel and I wanted to eat before going out on the town.
My wife and I both got one drink. A Hamburg draft ale for me and a Blood Orange Smash for my wife.
We started with the Avocado hummus with pita ($14) which was OK but desperately needed seasoning!
My wife got the sticky tofu bowl ($28) and I got the hanger steak ($50) entrees. While I’m not a tofu fan, she really seemed to enjoy it and comments that it was even better than she was expecting.
My hanger steak was cooked perfectly (just shy of medium) and the sauteed bock choy and two egg fried rice were an interesting but delicious accompaniment.
Our server (Grace) was attentive without being intrusive. Their enclosed and air conditioned terrace was pleasant even being 90°F outside today in Buffalo!
While a bit spendy at just shy of $190 (included 2 glasses of sauv blanc at $15/ea for our friend) with a $32 tip… at that price, I really expect EVERYTHING to be seasoned properly. However all around a pleasant experience and would recommend.
