Thank you for visiting our website. Umami Ramen House was established in 2020 by Chef Lu. His concept is to serve fresh authentic Japanese Ramen in a contemporary casual dinning environment. Umami Ramen broth is made from scratch with pork bones, which cooks over high heat for 10 to 12 hours daily. This process will unlock the flavors held in the pork bones into the broth. This process of broth making gives the soup base a rich and creamy taste.

All around top notch place. Server was good, very helpful. Atmosphere is great, cherry blossoms and lanterns all over the place. The food was excellent! We had spicy calamari and fried dumplings to start, tasty as hell. Then we had three different types of ramen, mine was the spicy beef, the meat was buttery tender, definitely going back

Umami Ramen had delicious food. However, service was lacking. Our server check on us once, our water was never refilled and we had to walk up to him to ask for to go containers and the check. He was to busy con his phone with his coworker. Bathrooms were also unkempt.

This ramen house certainly has some amazing food to offer up here in Mesa. The service was excellent and the atmosphere added to the experience of eating here. Amazing steamed dumplings too! Absolutely recommend trying this place out.

I had ordered Jazmine tea with passion fruit bobba, and the prep took it upon herself to replace it with green tea matcha so I just ended up paying for something I am not going to drink. The food is good, but the staff does make you think twice if you really want to go. My first time experience, I forgot my gucci sunglasses on the table come back in for them and they disappeared and now my drink gets changed for what I really ordered.

Really enjoyed Umami Ramen. The fried rice and gyoza were delicious, and the orange chicken and curry hit the spot.

We have never dined in the actual restaurant but we do order though through DoorDash. Our ramen today came with less than a quarter of the soup itself. When we put the noodles and toppings in the soup it wasn’t even enough to cover the noodles. This was the first time they did this and the manager Alex, did not apologize and Insisted that the portions are a lot bigger when dining in. So by his own admission, you get cheated from the meal when ordering take out. This has not happened before. He refused to take ownership and just told me to get my refund through DoorDash. Bottom line, do not order this for takeout. You are going to pay for dry noodles. I would give their service negative 5 stars. So disappointed.

We live on the Eastside of town and have been wanting to try Umami every time we pass through Mesa. And tonight, we made it a family night to check it out.
The dishes range from Chinese to Japanese dishes and all the dishes we had Ramen bowls, Tempura bowls, Orange chicken and Lo-mein fried noodles.
The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and full of delectable spices. Dinner plates were generous starting at $11.95 ( mostly $12.95) as well as the ramem dishes.
Perfect for a family dinner or a date night.
I’m not going to lie, I didn’t know what to expect and tried to stay open minded.
Our waiter was kind and attentive. With 2 waitstaff on the floor, they worked together to help big tables, and I appreciate their hard work.
Big shout out to my daughter for campaigning to try Umami Ramen House! They did not disappoint!

The lunch special is pretty good! Good portions, the sesame chicken was so good and the wontons were delicious. It was a to go order and my soup was forgotten, went back to get it with no problems. Do keep in mind that the prices online are not updated! Everything is around 2 dollars more expensive.
