When we lived in Providence we loved Madrid on the east side, so we were excited when they opened up in Barrington. But today we had an exceptional visit when we mistakingly arrived with our two toddlers about 30 minutes before they opened. The owner and staff didn’t hesitate to open the door and let us come in, even though they were still preparing for the day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pastries are fresh and delicious and our coffee was wonderful too. Love Madrid!

Very clean very nice! Wonderfun atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. There is a handicap ramp, but unfortunately there are stairs to get to the register. The pastry are delicious! I would absolutely return in a heartbeat. I did not try any coffee but this spot would be excellent for a date! Can’t wait to return.

I live in nyc and visit my parents in RI frequently. The pastries at Madrid are some of the most delicious I have ever had; I love how much flavor is in each tiny pastry. It’s also so wonderful to be able to enjoy just a tiny bite.

I am a frequent customer of Madrid in Wayland Square and was excited to learn this location existed. the interior is a bit smaller than Prov but the place is spotless and inviting and the staff is great. The pastries look as you would expect from Madrid, straight out of a magazine I tried the raspberry croissant for the first time and just fell in love. The coffee eclair was good but not my personal favorite as it was full of strong coffee flavor which was a little overwhelming with the perfectly made cappuccino we also ordered. That aside everything was lovely. I adore the cream puffs and the strawberry tarts (not sure what they are called). Madrid is a reliable, beautiful, and delicious staple in Rhode Island and I always look forward to coming here!

Euro Madrid Review
This spot is a hidden gem for dessert lovers. I came specifically to try the crème brûlée ice cream after hearing about it—and it did not disappoint. The photo I took doesn’t even come close to capturing how rich and indulgent it truly is. What really stood out, though, was the cake: a heavenly mix of crème brûlée and chocolate mousse that’s unlike anything I’ve found elsewhere. Each bite was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Euro Madrid is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for something sweet and unique.

It is my second time but both I was pleased. From the atmosphere, to the nice service, good coffee and pastries.
Why would you go to Starbucks (no offense) when this cute bakery is practically next to it and there’s plenty of parking in the back.

Incredible! I asked what they would recommend if it was my only chance to try any item in the bakery. They told me a cake. So I chose the orange chocolate cake and a pumpkin type cake. I also got a mini apple tart and mini eclair. The pumpkin and apple were by far my favorite.

Worst bakery birthday cake I’ve ever bought. Chocolate cake eith buttercream frosting. Cake was so dry and frosting came off on chips. I’ve had better cakes from BJs.

All the pastries are not only stunning but they’re delicious as well! The staff was so sweet and gave us details of all the things they offered. We sat on the back deck in the sun and enjoyed our breakfast. Will definitely be back!

We were excited to come here after hearing about this second location. It was wonderful! The employee was very helpful and polite to us, and explained some allergy details to us for our kid. (They don’t use any peanuts in their facility at all.)

The owner was also there, and he told us he always prioritizes taste first, then appearance, of a pastry. I think this really sets Madrid apart from and above other bakeries around metro Providence, because many places make nice-looking baked goods which sadly taste blah and cost a lot. Madrid is never blah.

And the lighting and environment is really nice, with big windows and mostly white surfaces inside. Highly, highly recommend!
