Was in Dublin,Ga this week my brother and I saw this place coming in and as we were leaving, we stopped in a couple places to look at. It’s sporting goods and several people suggest a good place to eat. We stopped neat little place. Was clean on the inside. People very nice, very cordial, great customer service and the food was excellent. We had to pull pork sandwiches if everything else is as good as the sandwiches weren’t. I will be going back.I’ll suggest anybody’s visiting Dublin.Georgia, to stop and have them a great meal

If you’re looking for a family friendly BBQ restaurant to eat at DON’T go to Southern Heritage. For years I’ve been under the impression that they prided themselves on being just that but after what I saw in there last night my opinion has completely changed. I don’t think I’ve ever been so utterly disgusted by what an employee at a restaurant was wearing that I wanted to tell them to refund my meal and leave. For the owner, who served us, to work side by side with a woman all day who’s pants are so tight that not only can you see every seam of her underwear but also every crease of her whooha is beyond disgusting. I for one will NEVER eat there again. And I intend on making sure everyone I know is aware that that is what their children will be exposed to if they take them to eat there. If I wanted to see that much of another woman’s whooha I’d go to a strip club.
UPDATE: I did hear back from who I assume was the owner of the restaurant, after two days. Who stated that the employee was within “dress code” but that they did have meeting with their staff and asked that they refrain from wearing that style of jeans to work. Firstly those pants weren’t made to worn that way so it’s not the style of the pants that’s the problem. It’s her private parts on display that is the issue. I however appreciate that the owner took action to insure that won’t be happening again. I will go back and see if that’s is indeed what happens and if it does I will come back and delete this review.

I Got the special and the food was quite good for the price. It was a very fair price, the staff they were very friendly and enjoyable. They helped me out not knowing what to order having never been there before. Yes, I would recommend this To anyone looking for fast, good barbecue.

The BBQ is pretty good. Though he pulled pork is overwhelmed with sauce and it’s a little mushy, it was like it was run through a blender instead of pulled. The picture dont make it look mushy but it was mushy. Tasted good but a little over sauced.

Found this little gem last year and just about everytime we visit Georgia from Florida it is a must for delicious fall of the bone bbq. So If you are ever in Georgia…drive over to Dublin even if it is an hour and a half away …you will not be disappointed. Staff are all super sweet and you get your food quickly! The owner is pretty awesome and down to earth as well.

I’d heard a lot about this place since moving to the area and everything was pretty good except the dinning area and the flimsy flatware. Our order was ready quickly. The pork was good and the portion adequate. I don’t expect to go back, but I wouldn’t object if I were with someone wanting to try it.

Service and kindness deserve six stars. The brisket was one of the best I have ever had. Better than Luis’ in Charleston. The brisket will have dyi smokers asking him how he did it.
