The verdict – Nothing’s Changed… Still pretty horrible.
I should have known, given the poor reviews I saw about this location, but decided to try it for myself. The lettuce in our salads was wimpy, not crunchy and fresh. The rest of the ingredients were very similar in texture and quality. The chicken in my salad looked odd, almost transparent. The soup I got was a glob of mess, with not much flavor, but loaded with thickener. The baguette they give was good on the inside, but the outside was rubbery, not any form of crunchy.
The lobby needed attention, as when I went to throw away our (1/2 uneaten lunch, as it wasn’t worth the calories), the plate/trash area was piled with plates and has some sort of liquid spilled all over the floor.
Overall – Definitely will be many years before I return for another try.
I will say I do not like the change to the bread for the Turkey Bacon Bravo sandwich. It used to be a thicker slice of bread that I thought was heartier when you ordered a full sandwich. Now it’s a thinner or normal slice size but you get essentially two sandwiches when you order a full. Same flavor and I enjoyed it, it was just a change. Honestly it’s probably better for sharing.
Prices have obviously creeped up. Bit over $40 for the two of us to have a sandwich and one side. It was fresh, tasty, and filling so all in all it was a great experience.
The drive thru is nearly impossible to take advantage of. Your best bet is to order on the app and pickup. This is the most painful part of trying to enjoy Panera.
Last picture is the way I remember the sandwich 🙂
PS I grabbed salt out of habit, you really don’t need any salt.
This is an addition to the dry flat cinnamon roll I got a few months back that looks like the school’s grilled cheese.
In 14 minutes I could have gone anywhere else 3 separate times.
If you’re desperate to pay $15 dollars for an average meal, I would recommend ordering ahead.
But regrettably I’d rather go just about anywhere else and spend 5% of the time doing so. Especially on a lunch shift.
Unreal.
