I have eaten here s few times. Most recently I had Spring Roll which were very delicious and the vegan Panang Curry and it was delightful. My wife had Tom Yum soup and it was not so yummy. Very little broth, lots of noodles and the flavor wasn’t great. Our server took ot back, removed it from the bill and brought my wife an order of the Panang Curry. They removed the issue immediately which is always a good sign. We will return in the future.

We stopped in on a whim. This place is wonderful.
The service was more than 5 stars. The food was fresh and delicious. I forgot to take a picture of my lunch.
However, the mango sticky sticky rice tasted as good as it looks in the picture.
They have many GF and vegetarian options

Service was good once seated. Not busy and had reservations.Had appetizer sampler and was good. Wife had pad Tai which she liked. I and friend had lemon grass chicken. Thought would have had a lemon taste or something….but no. Thought it was kinda bland. Tasted ok and no complaints.

Very nice restaurant. Service was great! We loved our dinners and the fresh rolls!
Lots of gluten free options and they even had gluten free (Tamari) soya sauce which most places don’t 🙂

My-Thai is better than your-Thai! We came here with a group of 8 of us. It was close to closing in the accommodated us, which we really appreciated. As we drove quite a ways out of Hamilton downtown to come and visit them. But I have to admit that the drive was worth it. There were lots of use of peanuts and the food was fresh and spicy when it needed to be. The curries were full of flavor the noodles were nice and balanced and the vegetables were fresh. Can’t think of anything wrong and everything was as expected. The restaurant was big and look like it could cater to a good amount of people. Food did come out quickly and on point. We had some vegetarians in our group and they easily catered to their requirements. My favorite dish there was the pad Thai noodles, I asked for it to be spicy and noodles did not stick to each other. We also ordered the basil and beef as well as the chicken option. And then we also ordered the chicken satay skewers with the peanut sauce

We have eaten here a number of times for lunch and it’s consistently delicious. The staff are attentive and the food arrives quickly. They have very reasonably priced lunch specials and this time we got the Pad Thai and Singapore Rice Noodles – both so tasty and flavourful. I also love their Sweet Soy Noodles.

Ordered the chicken and shrimp pad thai, with a side of rice and spring rolls that were forgotten. Pad Thai noodles were basically oil noodles. No flavour at all just oily, I got 2 pieces of shrimp in my noodles, which is confusing to me because it said shrimp and chicken. The rice was as fresh as spring water. The worst and most disgusting Pad thai I’ve ever eaten in my honest opinion. Waste of time and money.
I wouldn’t even give this place a second chance because of the disappointed the food was. Straight in the TRASH!!

Bad and good. Bad: This is a photo of the Singapore noodles which were extremely salty and greasy. It was inedible.
Good: But the Tom Yum soup with noodles was very delicious! I wish I only got the soup. The Singapore noodles was a waste of money.

I have always wanted to try this Thai restaurant, and tonight I was able to. I ordered Sweet soy noodles with chicken, spicy. I also ordered 4fresh spring rolls and asked if they could do shrimp. They said yes for an additional $4.00. I said I would get one order please. I got an ice tea to go. The total was just over $40. The fresh spring rolls were so terrible. I have made better ones myself with my limited knowledge of Thai cooking.
There was one maybe 2 shrimp in the whole thing and they were falling apart it was messy, and difficult to eat. I don’t recommend them. Not worth the price.
The peanut sauce was thick. Like crunchy peanut butter. I didn’t care for the texture or crunchy peanuts crushed into it. That’s just my personal preference. It did taste like peanut sauce it was just different.
The Pad SeeEw, or sweet soy noodles were ok. The flavour profile was good. It was a little dry, the chicken was dry too. Not enough sauce. I got a big chunk of green pepper a random cauliflower piece in my dish. It seems sloppy and hurried. It was ready in 15 minutes. I would be willing to wait and be happy with some amazing Thai food.
Disappointing is an understatement. If I spend $40 on one person and pick it up myself it should be topnotch.
I would give this restaurant 6 stars if I could. The owner herself reached out to my immediately and asked if I would try it again.
She was so kind and appreciated my comments. I picked up the exact same order tonight and it was 5 stars. The peanut sauce is no longer stored in colder climates so it stays creamy. The rolls were perfectly wrapped and filled with shrimp. I do take into consideration that everyone can have an off day. Thank you to everyone at My Thai in Ancaster. Amazing staff and hospitality.
