Brunch at Southerleigh absolutely lived up to the hype. This spot is Michelin recognized and you can really taste the care and intention behind every dish.

We started with the cinnamon roll for our appetizer, and wow! It soft, fluffy, and perfectly indulgent. The cream cheese icing paired with the caramel was rich without being overwhelming. Easily one of those “I’m thinking about it days later” pastries.

The country sausage hash was hearty and comforting in the best way. The Pork sausage had great flavor, the red potatoes were crispy, and the poached egg tied everything together beautifully. A well balanced dish that felt elevated but still classic brunch comfort.

The traditional Benedict was a standout. Perfectly cooked Canadian bacon, a smooth and flavorful hollandaise. The fried red potatoes on the side were crispy and seasoned just right.

The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, service was attentive, and the food presentation was beautiful (photos don’t lie). If you’re brunching at the Pearl, Southerleigh is absolutely worth the stop. I’d happily come back to try more of the menu.

This was my second visit to Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery. The first time I came here, I had a great experience and gave the restaurant a 5-star rating. Unfortunately, this visit did not live up to that standard, mainly due to the service.
The food itself was decent. While looking through the menu, my friends and I found some of the dish names a bit difficult to understand, so we checked the Google review photos to get a better idea of what some items looked like. When our server came by, we asked about a few dishes we saw in the photos. She explained that those items were either seasonal or part of the brunch menu, which was completely understandable. We then took a few recommendations from her and placed our order.
However, shortly after walking away, she returned within about five seconds and said, “If you eat here regularly, you would know.” The comment felt unnecessary and caught us off guard.
Our drinks and water were served first, and everything seemed normal. About 55 minutes after we placed our order, she came back to check on us again. We smiled and said we were doing well and were ready for the food. She responded by rolling her eyes and saying that the food takes time because it’s made from scratch. We absolutely understand and appreciate that quality food takes time, but the tone and attitude made the interaction uncomfortable.
When it was time to pay, my friend handed over the card. Before she processed it, I asked if there was a military discount available. She ignored the question and immediately ran the card. When I asked again, she said the payment had already been processed and that she would have to cancel the transaction to apply anything. It felt like the question was intentionally avoided.
Despite the experience, my friend still left the standard 20% tip.
Overall, the main issue during this visit was the service. We didn’t feel particularly welcomed or comfortable. Because of this experience, I’m not sure if I would return or recommend the restaurant again, which is disappointing given how much I enjoyed my first visit.

The staff was super friendly and they were very accommodating. I got a simple breakfast plate which was good but the potatoes were meh. The chicken and waffles were fantastic. That chicken had a wonderful flavor and paired so good with the waffle. We did order the fried green tomatoes because of the movie, and sweet Odins beard. These were so good. I truly feel that it was the best thing on our table. I would order these again in a heart beat. Overall the food was good and the staff was better, and the beer was really good. Its a shame I cant buy it down here where I live.

Great location great ambience great staff and good food
We stopped by on valentines for lunch. Outdoor sitting. Drinks were good. We ordered the biscuit and chicken and the grits. By far the grits were the best I have ever eaten. The potato’s and chicken and were good too. The biscuit was a little too seasoned for me. Overall a great experience. Staff was very attentive

An incredible meal in San Antonio. Very much worth of their Michelin Bib Gourmand award! Service was friendly, warm, and definitely southern (we’re from NY). Our waitress was lovely and seemed very enthusiastic to help us enjoy our evening.

Drinks were unique and delicious. I also enjoyed their beer on tap. Food was really solid. I’m going to have to say one of the best deviled eggs we’ve had! Loved the tuna and tomato tartar as well. We had eaten a lot earlier in the day and settled on a chocolate tart for dessert with no entree. It was incredible too. Was very happy to have found this place online and made a reservation before coming to San Antonio. I would highly recommend it if you enjoy food without it being too stuffy.

Our first time here was during the month of December because I saw an ad on Instagram that they have Oysters on Sundays for the month We asked for an outdoor searing and it was a perfect weather with people passing by at The Pearl, so you can do people watching. Service was great even though they were busy, and food and wine were great!

First meal in San Antonio – had a hazy IPA to start which was really good. The food was kind of standard but not bad. Our favorite was the Snapper Throats – the fish was tender and perfectly crispy on the outside. Overall, a decent first meal. Vibe is fun and love the brewery decor. Service was excellent!

A very cozy, beautiful, and authentic place located in a brewery. There is seating both inside and on the terrace next to the restaurant. The restaurant has a Michelin star and offers many vegetarian options, as well as a variety of beers at reasonable prices. The wine list is very extensive, with bottles selected to suit every taste. The restaurant also offers a lunch and late lunch special for $55 per person.

My Second Michelin Star Experience: Met All Expectations!
I recently had my second Michelin-starred restaurant experience, and it absolutely met all my expectations.
The restaurant’s atmosphere was quite distinctive and impressive; you immediately feel special inside. The high standard was maintained in the service as well. Our waiter was extremely attentive and cheerful, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable.
One often assumes that portions at Michelin restaurants are small, but that was not the case here. The food portions were adequate and quite satisfying. Most importantly, the flavours were truly spot on. Every single plate reflected the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the cuisine.
In short, it was an unforgettable experience and worth every
