Tony, Frank, Nicola and the entire 1928 team are the best in the business. They are meticulous down to the smallest but noticeable detail. All while smiling and making sure you and your guests are well taken care of. Well taken care of you will be. Make the trip to visit CT’s number one speakeasy. I would challenge not only the atmosphere and drinks, but the entire speakeasy itself to any other in the country. 100 out of 10! Thank you all at 1928 for so many fantastic memories and more to come!!

First time here and absolutely loved it. It is comfortable, not too loud, dark but you can still see right in front of you. Everything I look for in a cozy bar (but fancy speakeasy). The bartenders this night were doing dealers choice and were making a number of different, but incredible drinks. I will be back and highly recommend to anyone who might be on the fence of visiting.

While exploring a new town my wife found 1928, and we were wowed from the moment we walked through the bookshelf wall. The old fashion has been the best I’ve had. I will be coming here often, the service from Victoria has been top tiered and the drinks are phenomenal. 10/10

This place was great! Have been trying to try this place for a while and I have to admit it did not disappoint! Staff very friendly, drinks were crafted and definitely stimulate your olfactory senses. The food is very rich In flavor. The wasabi cream dip and chips and the truffle popcorn is a must! Frank our bartender was very friendly and makes great drinks!

Tried the Dealer’s Choice cocktail, “ heat to sweet” crafted by Karina and it was absolutely incredible. Karina is hands down the best bartender I’ve ever had. She took the time to ask the right questions and nailed the flavor profile perfectly. The drink was unique, balanced, and full of character just like the vibe of this place. Can’t wait to come back!
