We’ve been coming here for years, and LOVE the ice cream!!! That being said, this review is for this location, which has always been super awkward especially when it gets busy. I was excited to see construction going on inside, thinking maybe they’d address the flow of customers. Never did I expect to bring my tiny stroller in and not be able to fit in line they widened the area for the workers (which is was small but I never thought they looked similar crammed, similar to a drive thru coffee shop…) now it’s uncomfy to be a customer in line, definitely don’t bring a stroller! A bit baffled by the new set up, you think with the entire room next door they could figure out a better system. Will still support their delicious ice cream but may try different locations at the peak times. Also— the roof is closed, stairs have been taken down. It was super sketchy, stairs would wobble when walking. All it would take is a legit carpenter to build some sturdy steps and fix it up there as it’s a great spot to bring out of town family + friends to watch the Friday night drive. Hope they see the jam up this season and figure out something better for the future

So we had been told by friends that we should be sure to try Sweet Peaks before we flew out of town! So there were 4 of us in our group and we had been in Eureka for a week helping build a church and were flying out in the afternoon. We all ordered the huckleberry shakes with whipped cream!! They were pretty and tasted amazing! We had parked a few blocks away and we had them done by the time we got to the car. The girls working were super friendly and the interior was really cute and colorful! There is plenty of seating if you’d like to enjoy your treat there. The other 6 in our group came a little after us and tried some of the other ice cream flavors! It was definitely a hit!

During our travels to Kalispell, we got to try Sweet Peaks Ice Cream for the first time. Absolutely delicious!! Creamy and tasty.
They were founded in 2010 and are now only scooping in Montana. Their ice cream is hand crafted using Montana dairy and a selection of quality ingredients from the mountains West and beyond.
It’s a small shop with tables outside. Limited seating. When we got there, we had to wait for a while for them to open, even though they were supposed to be open. One of the staff was waiting as well since he didn’t have a key to open up. Quite a popular spot.
Flavors we tried:
Huckleberry
Wüstner Honey Cinnamon
Salty Caramel (MUST-TRY)
Salt Lick Sundae (MUST-TRY)
The Specialty flavors change. Homemade waffle cones. Vegan options.
On this Friday night, many cars were cruising back and forth on Main Street. It can be noisy.
Very small parking lot.

Huckleberry ice cream: Yum!
This is a fun spot in downtown Kalispell with delicious ice cream and a great, casual atmosphere. The staff were friendly and fun and the scoop they dished up was generous.
We sat outside on the picnic tables and watched the sun set. There is also an upstairs deck that would be a fun spot on a warm day.
I’ll be back!

The ice cream is made in house. It’s always so delicious. I prefer the saltlick. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor is very clean with an inviting environment. The outdoor area has a great shaded area and also areas to sit in the sun if preferred.

Great ice cream spot. Good flavor selection and helpful staff. The shop was definitely under construction and there wasn’t much space to sit down. We had a great visit and would return.

The ice cream was mid. The bathroom was unkept. She touched the cone with her hand instead of using a napkin, limited seating.
I loved the color of the ice cream! The scoops are a great size! Great location!

Absolutely best ice cream in the valley. If you’re from out of town you’ve gotta add this to your itinerary! They have a couple locations one is in Kalispell and the other shop is located in Whitefish.
If you haven’t tried their huckleberry ice cream make sure you do! There is usually a line of people, many times out the door, but it’s definitely worth the wait.
The kalispell location is cool because they have rooftop seating and as it gets dark they turn on the lights. Pretty cool for sure.

Nice spot for late night ice cream, good selection of flavors unfortunate that they are sold out of some of them. I picked some off the specials menu, they were decent and nicely unique flavors.
Atmosphere at night was good, the streets were absolutely dead on a sunday night, but the shop had several customers.

Wuster honey slaps. Also excited to be able to get the huckleberry sauce in a little jar to take home. Great MT gift for your out of state guests.
