Well, this time we stopped at Seattle airport, where we decided to look for a restaurant for lunch, and we chose this one. It has a very pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food was really good and fresh. I would only recommend that they reduce the amount of cream in the tomato soup, as it tastes more like cream than tomato. Otherwise, everything was very good.

Our little family of four had a couple hours between flights so we grabbed dinner at Skillet, and boy are we glad we did! The bacon jam blue cheese burger was THE best burger I’ve ever had. The flavor of each ingredient paired perfectly with every other, and it was cooked masterfully. The blackened salmon salad was equally exceptional, with perfect pairing of fruits, nuts, lettuce, and seasoned salmon. We were all eating off each other’s plates! An absolutely unexpected treat for a layover meal, and the highlight of our day. The cooks and staff really did Skillet right. Great food, great service, and a great experience.

Gerardo, the waiter, was very pleasant and the lady behind the counter had a good attitude, despite it being 6am. Good food, breakfast burrito could’ve use a bit more bacon. All in all, a good experience

The food here was the absolute worst. Clearly reusing old potatoes and reheating them. My “burrito” was like rolled to a crisp burn and was missing the listed ingredients. Husbands burger was burned on the outside and the bun was so soggy it became sticky on his hands. 10/10 would NOT recommend. cost $22-$28 per plate. Service was spotty as well, didn’t get much attention. Basically forced ourselves to eat enough since the bill was so high.

Very nice meal. I had the fish and chips from the shareables meal selection. It was very good and large portion. A nice meal for about $20. I do recommend this place if you are here and hungry.

Stand waiting to be seated and get ignored. They look at you and no smile, no ‘someone will be with you’, the girl that sat us was chit chatting with couple, her back to the front not seeing who wants to be seated. The people at the bar didn’t say anything. This place is not the place to go to get good service. Skip it. Hire attentive employees, care about your clientele, no body smiles. Is that hard or do you just don’t care?
Tators, nope. Eggs, yes. Bread, yes. Hubbys french fries, if you’re on a low salt diet, skip!!

Just wow. The service was okay, but the atmosphere was half-assed and the food was horrific. The poutine was soggy and kind of gross. They brought out the fish and chips and the fish was literally black. The waitress tried to tell is it always looks like this and if we don’t like she will take it off. We tried one bite and was disgusted. This place is so expensive too. Probably the worst airport restaurant experience. Only another hour to kill before I leave this place forever. Thank god.

The waitress was great. Friendly, attentive, quick.
The food was abysmal.
Ordered grilled cheese sandwich with soup and the poutine.
Grilled cheese was barely warm and bread was dry and not at all grilled. Barely even toasted.
Soup was gritty and tasted like grits with tomato sauce mixed in.
The poutine was a crime against humanity. The gravy was more like pasta sauce, the fries were tossed in the sauce making everything mushy, the cheese curds were completely missing, and they put powdered Parmesan cheese on top. Come on! Just 86 the dish if you don’t have the ingredients. And if those ARE the ingredients, just stop making food or at least call it “Mushy fries with random sauce and shaker cheese” and not poutine.
It was so late in our day of travel that we ate half of it and just moved on, which is what I think Skillet relies on, but just go get literally anything else somewhere else. If this is was my first Seattle meal, I’d never come back.

The manager would not let us sit at a completely empty table – with 50% of all their tables currently empty – while we waited for our food. Sandwich was tasty, but I’d avoid this place.

Brenda was my server. She was amazing! Very efficient. Very personable. She managed multiple (I mean lots!) of parties with speed while getting everyone taken care of. The skillet has great food (I had the Chilaquiles). The skillet has found a gem in Brenda- she’s a keeper.
