Came here for Omakase dinner and it was spectacular. The fish is very fresh and seasonal. The way it’s prepared is very authentic and simple (the way sushi should be). The sushi chef is very friendly and humorous. The atmosphere is very unassuming, in a small restaurant with only a few seats but I prefer this to over the top fancy restaurants you see in Boston. Felt very cozy. Excellent experience overall. I want to come back and try more sushi! Thank you , arigato

Thanks to Chef Allen, I FINALLY had omakase for the first time in my life The quality and authenticity of ingredients and preparation reminded me of my beloved travels to Busan . I am so lucky Mojo is close to home for us. They have solid typical American sushi, but the real treats are the omakase-style nigiri. We could really taste Chef Allen’s artful passion for food—bonus: I am such a sucker for lime and was not disappointed. Each component was carefully balanced with its counterparts, composing a symphony of delightful flavors.
The omakase is seasonal, so we will be back…

VERY good sushi. The fish was fresh, flavorful and prepared authenticly. Service was great. Some restaurants have a great atmosphere and average sushi- this is the opposite. Inside is small and simple but they make up for it with the quality of food.

You can’t find better sushi in New England than at Mojo Sushi! Not only is the sushi fresh, delicious, and well priced, but Chef Allen makes the entire experience enjoyable. I feel welcomed everytime I walk in. Mojo Sushi deserves a 10/5 stars. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The fish is exceptionally fresh, sourced directly from Tokyo’s Tsukiji Market/ Hawaii. Every dish is marvelously seasoned, offering one of the best flavors and service find in the Boston area.

The best sushi I’ve eaten has always been in small spaces behind unassuming doors. Mojo looked the part immediately. I had an excellent miso soup and a $40 nigiri omakase which consisted of 6 pieces of sushi. The chef explained each nigiri when they arrived at the table. They were beautiful. The fish was exquisite and each nigiri had bright and complex flavors that were applied sparingly so they did not overwhelm the fish. We were advised to savor each nigiri for a few seconds before chewing and to not put any soy sauce on them. That can sound pretentious but it was the right call. Each piece spoke for itself and we were rewarded for eating them intentionally and experiencing all the flavors individually and finally together as they melded. The omakase inluded 6 pieces of maki at the end that helped it feel like a full meal. I was still hungry so I ordered a chili noodle soup with pork in a pork broth. The broth was excellent and there were enough ingredients (wood ear mushrooms, two large strips of fatty pork, two small fish cakes, and rice noodles) but not so many that they felt overwhelming. It was really dang good and gently spicy, not make-you-sweat spicy. This was the type of meal that makes you excited eating.

Mojo never disappoints! Fresh, delicious sushi made with care. One of the best in the region. Always friendly service. We will continue to make the hour long trip to sit and enjoy some sushi and sake.

The omakase featured an excellent variety of fish that we don’t get often in the US. Each course seemed carefully balanced to showcase the flavor of the fish complimented by innovative and delicious sauces and toppings. Chef Allen did an excellent job crafting each sushi with care, as well as being a great and funny host. The experience is well worth the price.
