Updated : the food is prepared incorrectly now. I had large bones in my food I did receive. They don’t fulfill your entire order and forget items. I had large bones instead of a tamale.

Today was my second time dining here, and my review has only improved. I got the chicharron papusa and carnitas tacos. The papusa was a delight, but the tacos were the real star. The carnitas were so flavorful and along with the salsa, everything came together so well. This is definitely the go to spot for Latin food in Syracuse:) P.S. prices are amazing as well

We got 3 Cubans, 3 potato balls, and tostones! They were delicious! Consistent in those sandwiches every time. The potato balls had the best filling. Thank you so much. You’ll be seeing us again! 🙂

I was craving tacos so I went to this Latin restaurant because I checked online they had pretty cheap tacos. They didn’t disappoint!
Food: average: 8/10
4 piece carnitas tacos: $10
Compared to other restaurants I’ve looked at, one taco costed average about 6-7 dollars. So this was an amazing deal!
Taco is very good, it had onion, cilantro and lime. Very filling, the only thing was it was a bit greasy. 8.7/10
Medium Combo meal: yellow rice with pepper steak: $10
It was decent, nice texture with the steak, rice was good. I’ll ask for less broth next time because it made my rice a bit too soggy. 8/10
Vanilla Flan: $4
I’ve never had flan before so I thought I would try it! It’s pretty good, too sweet for my liking, but I don’t usually like sweet things in general. But it’s a nice treat to have once in a while! 7.5/10
Service and ambience: 10/10 peaceful atmosphere, place was very clean and people were friendly!
Overall for the price it’s great, if you’re craving for Latin food and want something on the cheaper side this is the place to go!
I definitely will come back to try the other things on the menu! 8.5/10

I ordered a shrimp mofongo to go, and a vanilla flan… when I got home to eat, the mofongo was just the shrimp, no plantain at all… and the flan was burnt on the bottom…

I’m originally from Buffalo, so it was nice to see that there was some sort of Latino community in the area and able to eat a Latin cuisine. I went in around lunch time and the restaurant was pretty empty but very clean, only a few people dining in for lunch. The food in sight looked amazing and prices were decent. I enjoyed my meal however, I wish the pupusas had a little more salt, they tasted a bit bland but there was a nice cheese pull. The curtido the pupusas came with was not good in my opinion, it tasted sweet and not salty and vinegary as it’s supposed to. I love the option to fresh mango juice and the desserts on sight. I’ll most likely visit again if I’m in town.

Oxtails are inconsistent fatty slimy and lack flavor and the price of them increased I ask for fresh rice didn’t have it, told me 30 minds , ask for napkins didn’t have any ask for beef Empanada I got cheese and chicken !
