My boys and I were heading up to the Adirondacks for a hike, so we stopped by to get some breakfast and subs for lunch. I got the rare roast beef and it was delicious! It could of also been extra delicious because I was hunnnnngry once we got to the peak.

Had an amazing quick lunch at Fat Paulie’s deli while visiting Saratoga Springs. Went with the Italian sub and a delicious delicious cauliflower salad in lemon juice, olive oil with capers. That salad was just yum! The Italian sub was served on fresh bread, super filling and just what the doctor ordered. Great service and tasty food at reasonable prices. What else could you want?

Fat Paulie’s is a great little spot tucked away in Saratoga. Food made to order is always fresh and good quality. The lines can occasionally be long and serviced sometimes takes a bit, I assume because of door dash orders but it’s always worth the wait. Just make sure you know you’ve got the time to wait a few minutes if you plan on grabbing something to eat.
Tables are first come first serve as well and with a busy deli, expect to have people walking around you as you eat. It doesn’t take away from the experience but if you’re looking for somewhere to spend an extended amount of time eating, this may not be the place.
The staff is always very friendly and so a fantastic job with both the food and service. Absolutely would recommend Fat Paulie’s to anyone looking for a bite to eat!

I wanted a good Italian sub on my recent visit to Saratoga Springs and Fat Paulie’s fit the bill perfectly! This place is part deli and part shop with everything you might need and want to go with your food. Big drink and chip selection also which is a plus! The service was good and the sandwich is even better. Nice soft bread, fresh cut veggies and a good portion of cold cuts. To be honest it was too much food for me but it was great!

Amazing heroes are being served at Fat Paulie’s . This trip my husband and I had the brisket hero and the fresh mozzarella hero. The fresh mozzarella is definitely the star of the show. Worth the drive alone.

I love this deli! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, especially during these hard Covid times, and the food is scrumptious! Our group ordered a French Onion Soup, That Good Salad, the Hot and Crispy Doritos Fried Chicken Hero and an Italian Mix Hero and everyone was in love with their choice. Fat Paulie’s prepares all of their menu items in house and they even make their own fresh mozzarella daily, which, I decided to purchase for later snacking 🙂 Would give 10 stars if I could!!!

Nice eclectic selection of sandwiches. Fast and courteous service. The cherry and walnut chicken salad sandwich was good but overly heavy on mayo. I preferred the ham el eme. Nice selection of pastas for home.

I love NYC delis and have been looking for something in the capital region that was close. I’ve lived all around the region: Schenectady, Troy, Albany, and now Saratoga (since 2020). There have been a few places that have been close but this place is the absolute best I’ve found. Great BEG!
And I usually judge Italian food by their meatballs. This place nails the meatballs better than most formal sit down Italian restaurants.
Give them a shot, you won’t be disappointed. Also, for delivery, it’s always packed well (no spills), and comes hot and fresh.
The prices are reasonable too.
