Salty Sue’s absolutely lived up to the hype! I ordered the club sandwich and it was exactly as advertised — the biggest club sandwich I’ve ever seen. No exaggeration, I had to take half of it home because it was so massive. The steak fries that came with it were delicious and perfectly cooked.
My girlfriend and her dad both ordered the Jamaican jerk chicken, and it was fantastic — really great smoky flavor and seasoned just right. My girlfriend also had a margarita and loved it.
Great food, generous portions, and solid drinks. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Panama City.

We stopped by Salty Sue’s while in Panama City and had a great time. The food was solid, fresh, and flavorful. The service was friendly and quick. The magician performing tableside was an unexpected highlight, adding a fun touch to the night. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I had the Shrimp Christo and steamed broccoli on the side w/ a roll was filling and delicious, he had the BBQ sampler with smoked turkey, beef brisket & pulled pork. BBQ sauce was delicious the beans were very good and coleslaw was so-so, hush puppies were good also. Would definitely come back to try something else in the future.

Man, this lil spot was right across the street from my hotel and I needed a good wholesome meal and found it here! I had the jerk chicken with cheese grits and baked beans. the food was excellent! best thing was my server Vera! she was the kindest lady and really made me feel quite comfortable being away from home and just needing a good meal. Samantha was a server and she was amazing! We got to the restaurant a little later but we were able to get a table. The strawberry daiquiris are sooooo good. Just the right amount of flavor and sweetness compared to the fake syrupy type. Portions were huge and I probably had the best steak that I have had in a very long time. So worth the 900 mile drive!!
What is cool is that one of the sides can be the cobbler of the day. My visit had mixed berry and that made dinner super fun even though it is impossible to eat it all.
