Thai 54 has been my top tier choice when it comes to authentic Thai food. I can remember when they were moving from H Mart (International Market). I highly recommend trying any of the dishes here, but the Red Curry is my favorite. It’s your choice of vegetables, chicken, beef or shrimp.

They have always been very pleasant people. They are very polite (greeting all of their customers). The food is fresh and amazing, please take the time to treat yourself. The bathrooms have always been clean.

Stopped in for a Monday Lunch. Inside was clean and bright. Service was prompt and friendly. I tried my standard when first visiting a Thai spot – Papaya Salad. I got it was an added side of marinated Fried Pork.
Super delicious, nice presentation, and I thought a great bargain at about $22.
Check out Thai 54 Restaurant and see if you like it too!

The restaurant is located on Chapel Hill Road, close to Morrisville.

I took an order to go. I arrived late like 10 minutes to close, they still accommodated the order to go and the food tasted great. Ordered red curry and basil fried rice both are good.

Just know that hot at this Restaurant is spicy so stick to Medium if you can’t take it.

I recommend

We came in in a Monday night.
The restaurant was empty with the 2 bags ready to go out.
We were asked to seat wherever we wanted.
Ambiance was nice, menu was clear with prices for lunch and dinner, also on meat choices or vegetarian.
We ordered Chicken Cashew and Chicken Kapow: both dishes were not 100% authentic as we lived in South East Asia and have been numerous time in Thailand, from North to South, the rice was very dry which made it difficult to swallow down.
We might come back another time to try different dishes to see if it’s better.

Thai 54 is a great place for authentic Thai food with bold and well-balanced flavors. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, from classic favorites to comfort meals, all made with fresh ingredients. The food tastes homemade and flavorful without being overwhelming. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious Thai food.

Best Thai food in Morrisvile, no cap! Everything we tried was incredibly good. Favorites? Thai wings (best Thai style dry rubs we’ve had in a while), Pad see ew noodles, crab cheese wonton, crab meat fried rice and Tom kha soup! Please get these and you’ll keep going back for more. Try as much as spicy you can handle because spicy makes it better ️ But if you’re in the area, this place should be in your list. Also get the refreshing iced green milk tea yumm

The only Thai place in the triangle that I’ve gone to that actually makes their food SPICY! Which is much appreciated. The food was great, but I was surprised when the filling of the spring rolls we ordered were just cabbage and carrots and no noodles. Also, it would be nice to consider adding beef blood to the Thai Boat Noodle (or have it as an option) to make it even better and more authentic! That papaya salad was BOMB though, best I’ve ever had (that’s not made at home). I will def come again!!!

Thai 54 is a solid dining experience with friendly service and flavorful dishes. While I was a bit disappointed to not see duck on the menu, the available options were plentiful, including beef, pork, chicken, and vegetarian choices.

We enjoyed the pad Thai with chicken and parang curry, which were a delicious choice. Overall, Thai 54 is a good option for satisfying Thai food cravings.
I recommend trying

* Pad Thai with Chicken
* Parang Curry

I can’t stop ordering their drunken noodles – some of the best I’ve ever had!! I’ve had it with shrimp, chicken, and tofu. Also recommend their Pad See Ew and spring rolls. The crab wonton was not as sweet as I had hoped. And the fried Gyoza was fried too hard. Also tried their curry, great curry. But small portions for the price and an even smaller container of rice (had to make my own at home to supplement)
