Definitely some of the best salsa I’ve ever had for a Taqueria. Had the Carne Asada burrito and while it had flavor there’s an awful lot of chewy grisley parts. Advice to the restaurant, Focus on the steak, trim the gross parts off, the fat and gristle. I’ll try the chicken next time. It looked good.

I ate here with my family and was not happy overall. My wife had old cheese at the bottom of her side lerrice bowl, and the guacamole was old like it had been frozen and thawed out.
When I asked for the manager, he wasn’t there. His employee had to call him. When I told him the out 2 other plates were fine, it that my wife’s plate wasn’t good, he said they only do refunds right after they bring out the plate, not later. I explained we didn’t see the lettuce issue until later. We almost returned it after we saw how bad the guacamole was, now I’m wishing we had just never ate there. I’ll be sure to never eat here again. Even if the service was better, the food overall wasn’t a thing special. Don’t take your family here.

This is the first time I have ordered food from here. My daughter had recommended it so I thought I would give it a try. I ordered a shrimp taco. It was really good! It was generously packed that I had to use a spoon to eat my taco. It was so full that I was unable to fold into a taco shape. I will definitely be returning.

WOW, I’m impressed! I’ve lived near this restaurant for a while now and always hesitated to eat from here. Today was the day I finally ordered take out, & it was so good! The flavor of the meats were there!! (Carne asada/chicken), & the portions were pretty big. Agua frescas are tasty!! My bf & I will definitely be returning soon!

I’ve had many dinners her with a group that can fluctuate between a couple folks to 8+ and we always enjoy the meal. The food quality is always solid. And though one doesn’t normally expect anything special from counter order service, here the staff is always kind, attentive and generous with servings.

Bring your appetite or share a dish as the serving size is quite large. The staff is so nice and they hustle. The tacos and platters are awesome. We had a few tacos and a platter.
Parking can be a pain in San Carlos so come a bit early and it should be fine. There are usually spots on El Camino down the block.
Back to the food, it is quite yummy and they have the standard selection of meats and sea food. I personally enjoy carnitas. The horchata was delicious with the right level of cinnamon.

I hardly leave reviews but man this place was FIRE Way better than the Lulu’s down the street. All the workers were focused on their work and the presentation of the food was great. Great quality meats and generous portions. My girlfriend and I will definitely be coming back.
