Sesame chicken was super soggy, Sweet and sour chicken is super dry and bland, most of it was almost as hard as a rock and cold. It’s been like this for years and i come back every now and then hoping it’s better. Noodles were sort of bland. Sauce is super sweet and thankfully makes the cold chicken somewhat better

Hy-Vee’s Chinese food is severely underrated. Is it anything special? Absolutely not. Is it just as good as a lot of Chinese restaurants in town? Surprisingly – yes. If you’re in a pinch and it’s within normal dinner hours, grab some.
