Not a great experience here last night. Sat at the very cramped bar. Bartender looked like she just rolled out of bed wearing her comfy clothes I guess. No warm greeting just what can I get for you? Took my wife’s food order and never asked me what I wanted. Food came see picture of my mangled wings. Gross. Garlic parm wings with no flavor and weird blue cheese dressing. Tomato bisque was good but how can you mess that up? Showed Bartender wings she said would talk to cook. Never got replacement wings. Never got back to me til we were ready to leave then offer to comp my drink. Anyway took forever to get the check and then another 20 min for her to pick it up. I won’t go here again.

Nice little place in Avon. This was our first time visiting. Food was great. I loved the french onion soup. We were there over an hour and half for a pizza, soup and salad. It took longer than we expected. They bring you water when you first sit down which is great. I ordered an ice tea and was never once brought a refill and my glass sat empty well over 30min. We were asked if we needed anything else by the time we were paying and it was too late by then since we were tired from sitting so long. Would try again maybe for take out. Prices are great also.

Food was good but prices are a little high for the area. A bowl of French Onion Soup for 11.00 with no sides is a little much. I did like that you could purchase half a salad with it but that was even high at 7.00. But are server Amanda was great!

Stopped in yesterday for a sandwich and wine. We were barely greeted, I got a bad vibe immediately and wanted to leave. Hubby said I read the room wrong. OK. I relaxed and we ordered. No sooner had we ordered when a man came in (seen him there before) and he sat down at the bar. This man was loud and obnoxious. Talking on his phone dropping f bombs! It was a terrible experience. Relaxing over wine and food was impossible with this loud mouthed man cursing and yelling into his phone. Nobody did anything to quiet him and when my husband complained to our server, she chewed her gum, smirked at us and couldn’t care less. We got out of there ASAP. We will never be back for 3 reasons: 1. Service sucks, 2. Atmosphere sucks, and 3. Food sucks. Try better guys. We used to love your place. Also, try to get servers with some sort of personality. Our server, well she sucked.

What a great little place to grab dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic. I am very diligent about taking photos of my food but I dove right into the skillet cookie desert before I even thought about a picture. Everything was great. I did get a picture of my pesto pizza and the wife’s meatball sub. I will definitely be back to try the taco’s. The guy next to me had them and now I must try.

Great service! The servers are always very attentive and friendly.
The wine list is outstanding! Bar Nova has somehow accomplished the impossible — EVERY WINE ON THE LIST IS AMAZING! They do also have a beer list featuring some local breweries and other craft beer, as well as cocktails. But seriously, stick with the wine. I use their wine menu as a guide when I go shopping.
The food is generally pretty good, with more healthy options than most restaurants.
We’ll be visiting again and again!

Nice bar with a descent ambience, good selection of drinks and awesome food. The nova fries were delicious, especially with a drink on the side.

We’ve had most of the items on the menu after a few visits. I suggest the brie crosstini, deviled eggs, fried mozzarella, queso, any Flatbread, french onion soup, macaroni and cheese, tacos, and brie chicken sandwich are a few of our favorites.
Check it out. It’s worth the visit!

first time there and looked at menu before I went. Met a group and I was not impressed. ordered chicken parm which was small, soggy AND COLD. spaghetti was also barely warm. asked for bolognese?? wanted $6 and I had to SEARCH for any meat. DID NOT SAY ANYTHING CUZ IT WAS MY FRIENDS BDAY. PAID $52. NEVER EVER WILL GO AGAIN.
