Kitchen open till 2AM! Perfect “Dive bar” in Galveston. Would highly recommend this place for good drinks and good food. I stopped in and got the Large thin crust pizza (supreme), and was definitely better than most of the places in Texas.

So this was our last stop on the haunted pub crawl, and I remember we was HUNGRYYYYY. I was expecting like some chicken fingers our like cheese sticks when you think of bar food right? NAW. This place has a whole 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ restaurant hidden within its walls! I ordered the country fried steak and omgggggg it saved my life! The staff was very sweet and engaging even for how busy it was too! The only negative thing I have to say about our time here was the younger men that apparently regulate this place are completely awful and disgusting. Like don’t understand the word no kind of jerks.

Comfortable neighborhood pub with great drinks and food. The fried catfish is exceptionally good. I’m also a fan of the chopped steak w brown gravy and onions. Great location off the strand with a small parking lot. Owner and bartenders are friendly and I’ve never had a problem getting a seat at the bar. Recommended

It’s Lent season and you know us Catholics need our fish on Friday. I was searching for a place on the island that served decent fish and saw the reviews. CLAIRE gave high remarks about the fish. I am from the island and never like any of the restaurants fish meals because we can make our own at home so we are picky. Let me tell you! If you want hot fresh homemade cornmeal fish this is your place!!!!!!! Jack’s can I just get a bucket of fried fish and skip the rest of the dinner?! I ate all my fish in the car on the way home and I think I need to come back. That fish deserves five stars! Get extra green beans! They are delish!!!
