We were pretty disappointed with our meal here. We went on a Sunday evening at about 5:30 (they are open until 9:00). The restaurant was not busy at all so we were able to get a seat right away. It is a buffet style Chinese restaurant so there’s not much to the wait-service, but right off the bat things weren’t great. They don’t offer milk or juice; only pop or water. But even with our simple order of 4 pink lemonades and 2 waters, and me trying to ensure that the server understood this correctly, we got 3 of each by mistake. I was willing to overlook that but that wasn’t the only disappointment in the service. We didn’t get a lot of plates per person over the course of our meal but multiple times we had to sit with used plates in our way and the tables are not large enough to sit with stacks of dirty plates around you like that. At one point I put the used dishes at an empty table near us just so we had enough room to eat comfortably.
The food was just not very good. I usually love Chinese buffets but a lot of the food here was really inedible. Some of it was only bland and tasteless but some of the dishes were really old and dried out. Most of the different dishes tasted the same even though they shouldn’t have.
The cream cheese wontons were a bummer. The outer part was great; nice and crispy like it should be, but the filling that should have tasted like cream cheese was a weird texture and tasted really sour in an unpleasant way.
The 2 soup choices were overly gelatinous and really bland. Their “hot and sour” soup was neither. It had nice mushrooms and tofu in it but totally missed the point of the soup.
The “Chinese” dishes were disappointing and I was really hungry, so I thought I’d try the fried cheesesticks. How could that go wrong? Oh wow, they were not good being cold and dried out!
Normally I finish my food at every meal when I’m at home and when I’m at restaurants. I hate wasting food so I’ll always finish up the last few bites of my meal and try to never leave anything uneaten on a plate at a buffet. So it was a first for me that I really could not and would not finish multiple things on the 2 trips I went up for food. (Only 2; I normally double that at a buffet!)
My family tried multiple things and had mixed reviews. They didn’t like the lack of variety, especially the lack of vegetables. One of my children really liked the pineapple they had available. My youngest liked the Egg Drop soup probably *because* it was really bland. For a small town Chinese buffet in Saint Michael I guess it wasn’t bad considering the price was less than <$20 for an adult and <$8 for a child.
Thanks for the meal and I wish them well but it was just not our type of food.

It was an ok experience. I hadn’t been here for about 8-10 years.. We dined here between 2:30-3:30pm on 3/8/25.. A quarter of the food items I ate from the buffet were pretty good. The rest was not good at all and was either lukewarm or cold. They were not busy either. The few food items that were pretty good sweet/sour soup, egg drop soup, cream cheese wontons, the beef with mushrooms and the orange chicken. The Mongolian beef was gross. It will be a long time before or if I eat here again.

My boyfriend and I came here later in the evening and the staff was beyond welcoming and kind. Since it was later in the evening the buffet food was closing up, they offered to make whatever we wanted and bring it out fresh. They even gave me a beautifully wrapped rose at the end of our meal when we were leaving. We will undoubtedly be a returning customers. If you are ever on edge about trying it out, just go for it we definitely we were interested for awhile, but just kept putting it off we’re glad we committed to going here that night.

I came in late on a super cold night and they didn’t have much for food but they were kind enough to go out of their way and make me whatever I requested fresh! Came back with a packed full box and an extra for me to grab some bits from the buffet. Super accommodating and the food was great! This is my favorite place to go in town because of how nice they are. Amazing people and service!

Food was really good. My wife and I really enjoyed our take out. We stopped by around 3:30-4pm. There wasn’t a lot of food out but still was tasty. It was really affordable. Will for sure be stopping by again!

My boys and I had dinner here tonight and it was very disappointing. I had two plates that I did not finish. I just picked at because as other reviews state the food seems old, recycled, & dry not many people were there even my nine-year-old said I think some of this food is old. It’s super outdated not a lot of variety no crab legs or Peppered shrimp for dinner at that price I expected more. I only went here because the one in Elk River is closed. That is where I live so the fact that I drove from Elk River here and paid that much for low quality food was very disappointing.

This place has been good in the past. Was here on 10/15/25 and there was hardly any food out. No Dumlings, no Broccoli Chicken, there were 6 to 8 pans that were empty. Asked if more food was coming out and got a little attitude back, saying 5 to 10 minutes. We were there for 30 minutes at least and never got Dumplings or Broccoli Chicken. Very Disappointed….

One of the best restaurants if you are in Albertville MN and want to found a proper food . Good quality , super wide menu selection on buffet , oldies but also more sophisticated dish option . Reasonable price for dinner buffer in the area

Great place to go. So good in fact I don’t want to tell you about it. If we all go there, it’ll get crowded, oh, well.
