Absolutely Amazing! Best Kamikaze!
Was my first time here with my husband on last Sunday to celebrate our Valentine’s Day and it’s blown my mind and filled my palates with excitement and joys of freshness, boldness and unity of great ingredients come together in such a great culinary experience from talented Japanese chef Keith.
Highly recommended! We love every single bites of all the specially crafted sushi. So delicious! Job well done Chef Keith

The fish was incredibly fresh, and somehow every course was even more delicious than the last!

What really sets this place apart, though, is the metal atmosphere. It’s such a unique twist on traditional omakase. It’s laid-backlaid-back, full of energy, and filled with cool stories from Chef Keith. Easily one of the most memorable sushi experiences I’ve ever had.

Had an amazing experience – one of the best omakase experiences my husband and I have had.

Chef Keith is very friendly and together with his wife, they create an atmosphere that feels homey and relaxed. The decor and music are a whole vibe too!

The omakase experience is great – great variety on fish and well paired with ingredients that enhance the fish’s’ natural flavor.

Highly recommend!

Amazing experience with Chef Keith and his wife! One of the best omakase places in the greater Vancouver area. Happy that they chose a good location that’s outside of downtown. The best part – free parking in the complex.

We had an all round A+ dining experience with the 13 piece omakase. It was super filling and every piece of sushi was a work of art filled with balancing flavours. Chef Keith is super genuine and passionate about his craft. I felt like I teleported into Japan! We also loved the unique rock and roll decorations. All in all, highly recommend and worth every dollar.

Had the great pleasure to celebrate my birthday with the incredible omakase sushi experience at Sushi K. I had been looking forward to trying it with all the great reviews I had seen others post and am thrilled to share that it exceeded my high expectations!

The sushi was perfect! Each piece was a culinary masterpiece that reflected the best of what was fresh and available from Chef Keith’s orders from the Japanese fish markets primarily, but also locally. The rice and homemade soy sauce made the experience completely delicious. Chika and Keith are warm and friendly hosts and the restaurant is spotless and welcoming.

We are looking forward to returning, even though it is is quite the drive from where we live. It’s worth the trip!

Every now and then you discover a restaurant experience that blows you away. This is one of those times. We did “The Adventure” and it was just that- an adventure of flavour delivered with world class expertise. Cannot recommend it enough!

First time dining at Kamizato Omakase, and it was an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, the owner—who feels like a rock band superstar—welcomed us warmly. The restaurant’s rock-band–themed décor is unique and fun, and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere.
The omakase was absolutely worth it: 13 courses of sushi at a very reasonable price. Each piece was carefully explained in detail by the chef, and the seafood was incredibly fresh—flown directly from Japan to Vancouver.
We had great conversations with the friendly boss and ended up spending about 2.5 hours enjoying dinner. It was relaxed, memorable, and truly enjoyable.
Highly recommended. I will definitely come back again!

We went as a group of four. The restaurant is quite small; an L-shaped counter and maybe four or five tables of four. It’s decorated in a hard rock/heavy metal style with record jackets, concert posters, guitars, basses (Devin Townsend and Gojira, among others), and other memorabilia.
It’s run by just the friendly, down-to-earth chef and his courteous wife. They were engaging and informative without being overbearing. They’re full of awesome rock trivia and stories, too.
The sushi quality is on a different level. It’s not the typical fare one can get anywhere. The price reflects that, but if you can appreciate quality, it’s quite reasonable.
The fish is so fresh, they all just seem to melt like they’re made from cream. Each sushi piece is on the smaller side for consumption in one bite.
I’ll most certainly be back.
