Picked this place cause the food looked fresh and it was. They are very nice. Restrooms are available for customers only. They have a fire place to chill next too and it’s more spacious inside than it looks from the outside. We got the tsunami and cod fish and chips. Was pretty good.
Note, the garlic Parmesan fries have powdered garlic, not the garlic chucks.
Noelle in particular is very catering accommodating, and in good spirits. It’s going to be a good visit if you’re paired up with her.

Clam chowder was really good( so good I almost forgot to snap a picture)Definitely the best new England style in the area. Smash burger was good. Maybe next time I’ll ask to see if i can toast the bun to give it the extra crisp I needed. The gyro was also very full and flavorful. Owner of the store was also nice. Adorable dine-in or take to go spot. Husband and I went in to order to go. We both loved our smash burgers. I got a regular plain smashburger and he got the jalapeno popper one. It was so good I forgot to take a picture of it, but I have a picture of his! It’s also the cutest ambiance and tastefully decorated inside. Super friendly staff and owners.

One of my family’s favorite restaurants on the peninsula. I highly recommend the Phoenix! The food is fresh and the flavors keep you coming back for more. They also accommodate food allergies and have gluten free options. The seating is limited inside but since we live around here it is nice to be able to order and take home. Just typing this out makes me crave them and race back for more!

Update…. Without me prompting or complaining before I left the restaurant she noticed I didn’t eat most of my meal and removed my meal from the ticket even with me protesting that I was happy and would already come back. Will definitely come back
Got cod and chips. The cod was bland and greasy and the fries tasted undercooked for steak fries. The flavor was good on the fries. Other food arriving to other tables looked really good. Might try something else if I come again. Not worth the $$

Stopped in for dinner while staying in Long Beach and this is one time all the stellar Google reviews were spot on! The burgers were excellent! We ambitiously ordered an order of the parm fries as well as an order of the gyro fries and wow, the gyro fries were the true sleeper hit they were SO GOOD. And the staff was super friendly! Def worth checking out when you’re in the area!

Burgers are great! Parmesan fries are to die for but the most perfect dessert in the world- the churro ice cream/cake. It’s so magical and decadent 100 stars. Can’t wait to come back and visit Long Beach and make this a staple food stop for me and my family!!!

We had the High tide Gyro and Gyro salad (pictured), everything was very fresh and delicious . Got the food to go, it took about 20 minutes and well worth the wait. We ate our food on the beach. I highly recommend B&Ds Food Hut, stop in for some wonderful eats!
