This was a lackluster stop for me. The place has a great look about it and the lady that took my order was very friendly. That was the highlight of the visit, though. The food was just okay for me. I had the rib basket with french fries and coleslaw. The ribs tasted more like oven cooked than smoked ribs, the BBQ sauce tasted like grocery store brand off of the shelf and the coleslaw had a pickle relish flavor. That’s just my opinion so take it for what it is. I think I would have enjoyed my meal more, though, if there weren’t a dozen flies buzzing about inside the restaurant. Not an outstanding experience but it was good enough that I’ll give the place another try the next time I’m in the area.

The south prides itself on its ability to transform a pork butt into a masterpiece. The Farmhouse does this exceptionally well but it also reaches out into a creative realm that many have failed to achieve. I had the smoked prime rib sandwich for lunch today, my first time experiencing this sandwich and I was blown away. Their chili dog is up there with my top ten favorites. This place is inspired by the authentic but reaches out into a world of imagination cooking. Come here and don’t be disappointed.

We had a huge party coming in at about 9 people and they were able to accommodate to us immediately including a child !The sweet lady upfront was able to give us a booster chair fast and cleaned it as well as pulling tables for the large amount of guest.We ordered ribs,brisket,corn nuggets ,fried okra and it was more than exceptional .The brisket was juicy and tender and the ribs fell right off the bone!And the corn nuggets were amazing I mean I could not stop eating them and ordered some to go !I could not stop raving about them !!10/10 must try if you are in the area and the community that comes in are so friendly and everyone knows everyone !!!Must come if you pass by !!<3
