This was my 1st time here.
Walking in the door I was greeted with such an amazing energy. Alberto really made me feel welcome. I loved the music playing in the back from the TV .
Now the food was fresh and you can see that was made when I ordered it in the store.
The taste was amazing.
I’ve lived in this area for some time and it’s good to have a new style of food come to the area.
The price wasn’t bad as well.
The portion of food was along the lines of the style of food. You won’t leave here complaining about how your still hungry.
I would definitely come back and be a regular customer.

#1. The food was so expensive
#2. The food wasn’t cooked properly nor had taste.
#3 serving size was a joke for the amount of money spent.
Rice a small French fries container
Plantains 5 in a container
Roasted chicken meat very hard to cut
Not a happy customer will never eat there again!!

It was delicious. I had ceviche de pescado, batido de guanábana en agua. Everything was very fresh and tasty, and the prices are reasonable.

I used to come here and enjoy my special soup of won ton. But this time, I had I believe a ginger soup with just chicken. On top of that, they charge for service on my bill. I had to wait to get my utensils once the food arrived and the service was not the best! They didn’t deserve a tip at all. Lastly, we order a rostierre chicken and it was small and cold. Looks like they changed owners, never coming here again I stick with the one in Elizabeth port don julio from now on.

Some of the best Peruvian food I have had (including Peruvian food in Peru). The staff is super accommodating and the place has a very homey feel. I would definitely recommend this place (and the pollo a la milanesa, which I ordered and loved), to anyone in the area.

It was a cold day in early April when I went apartment viewing in Linden. Don Julio’s was open that Sunday so I went in to get a quick lunch. I found it cozy and warm inside. The waitress answered my many questions about the style of cooking. Since I was not sure about the main courses (I’m a vegetarian), I went with the cheese sandwich on fresh baked bread. The cheese was good, very soft and mild. The bread was also good. The Peruvian coffee was light, not quite as strong as cappuchino. The flan was excellent: light and not overly sweet or rich. I will definitely come back to try other desserts when I am out on Wood Avenue after I move to Linden.
