Ordered from this Restaurant last night. The fried rice was very delicious and the entrée portions were big, definitely worth it. The egg rolls were crispy and full of flavor. The soups were okay — the hot and sour soup was a bit too sour for my taste, and the wonton soup was decent but the wontons/dumplings were a little mushy. Overall good food and solid portions, I’d come back.

For a business that solely depends on takeout, their phone manners are missing. Not bad or inadequate but missing. On top of that I found an insect in my last honey-garlic chicken order. Either a baby cockroach or some king a beetle. And just found that my browser malware extension filtered their website with “This site is blocked due to a security threat.” Eat “from here” at your own peril.

Horrible service. I ordered food with absolutely no seafood—only chicken and beef. I had no idea I needed to specifically state a seafood allergy just for them to properly clean their pans and utensils. My grandfather had a severe allergic reaction after eating the sesame chicken and vegetable lo mein. We will not be ordering from here again. This experience seriously raises concerns about their cleanliness and food safety.

We ordered takeout this evening and was very disappointed in the food. The egg drop soup was so salty, it was inedible. The orange chicken was lacking flavor.

Visiting Miami and stumbled into this place while hungry for Chinese food. With the name I actually expected to see Vietnamese food or influence but surprisingly it is authentic Americanized Chinese food. I had fried rice, shrimp broccoli, cashew chicken, and beef lo-men. I got enough and good size but most importantly, fresh tasting shrimps and crispy and green broccolis. The sliced beef in lo-men is tender and lo-men cooked just right to my taste. For a Taiwanese living in Southern California, it is certainly a pleasant surprise. It is the best tasting Chinese food I’ve had in Miami so far, and most fairly priced. It is not overly greasy, salty or starchy. If anything, I would request lower salt as personal preference. I am happy with Mekong II and will come again for sure.

Small, take-out, delivery and small dine-in space.
The food is good and the portions are generous. They are willing to adjust your preference including heat, no MSG, etc.
Some “off-menu” requests can be filled, such as ribs in black bean sauce, chicken feet and the like, I was told. For that, be sure to call ahead for availability.
I ordered three items, small wonton soup, small special fried rice and an order of boneless bbq ribs.
It was ready in 10 minutes, I brought to my office to eat. The food setting is my own, they give you foam paper plates and standard plastic ware, as well as the usual condiments and accompanying fortune cookies and fried wonton.
Be sure to ask for Hot Oil, or Pepper Oil. It is delicious!
Plenty of left overs for lunch tomorrow.

I placed an order through Uber Eats and the restaurant charged me but never delivered the food. If they had really started preparing it, then why was it never sent out? This is an abuse towards the customer.
When I remade the same order with just one extra item, the system charged me almost $60, when with the coupon applied it should have been around $40. The restaurant accepted the order without honoring the promotion, and it was all recorded as if everything was correct.
In summary:
Charged for an order that was canceled/not delivered.
Charged for another order with the coupon ignored.
All of this happened through Uber Eats, which makes the experience even more frustrating.
I will not be ordering from here again, and I do not recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Would not recommend ordering in. Get the takeout, cuz their food is pretty fine. But the woman at the counter is irritating, cant take an order, and always on her phone. Pathetic, just get Panda Express pr any other chinese restaurant.

Place has really gone downhill. Eat here if you want a long black hair in your food and obscene amounts of salt in your salt and pepper chicken wings. Used to love this place, now its inconsistent at best.
