Both the food and service was good. We were there with a group of 16. We had made a reservation so they gave us our on room with our own designated server. They split the tickets without any issues. She kept the chip basket and salsa bowls full. We were very pleased.

This family owned restaurant never disappoints. We’ve been going once a month for years. Never a bad experience. The staff is especially friendly and attentive, and often the owner will stop by the table and say hello. Plenty of options on the menu. Everything we’ve had has been delicious!

Tell us ok the food but the was not something special for get 5 stars. In my order the only very special was the bean soup with nice flavor. The place is huge and nice very high decorated Mexican style. The four stars was because two very good attention and because everything look very clean.

I have purposely left my prior visit experience description below for you to read because although I stated I would not return, I made the choice to give them another chance due to the recent changes I have observed on the exterior. I figured there was a chance the changes were within as well, and happily, I was correct in my assumption!

Well done Casa Don Boni! I brought you a challenge, a large group and you did well! The folks in tow were all astute foodies from Houston, down to the littlest one, with discriminating palates. Each of us had a wonderful meal and wonderful service, they continued to reflect on the experience at the end of our evening and I believe in giving credit where it is due so I want each of you to know especially those of you whose opinions were higher than mine over a year ago; if a year ago impressed you, you are in for an experience this year because Casa Don Boni has grown as a whole, and I assure you, it is impressive!

Happily impressed,

I have dined in a few times and I have done

one carry out order. That said l feel I have given enough opportunity to give account for bad days that come up in every visit. While I will say my carry out order was fajitas the dine in was 2 times lunch and breakfast. I wasn’t impressed with the service for dining in and when I ordered to go I walked away with a little sticker shock. In all fairness the fajitas were very good but in Houston I can find 2 lbs fajitas (with the sides and garnishes) for $40.00 give it take a few depending on where you go. So this is the ball park I was expecting to be in. I had guests arriving from out of town so once I placed the order and waited there was no turning back. For 2lbs fajitas with beans rice garnishes and tortillas (all these are standard) and an extra order (large)of hot sauce was like$75.00! While I did pay it because my guests were waiting but it was officially my last visit.

Really good service. The food is delicious. The parking lot is hard to drive through when they are busy. Especially when someone with a big truck parked right up front and cuts off the rest of the lot. As for the restaurant, they cook authentic Mexican food. Nothing from a can nor freezer. They start with breakfast and cook meals all day long.

I got the $45 family box. It was delicious and staff was extremely friendly.. Only reason there’s not a 5th Star is I called in the order 20 minutes before I left,it was a 10 minute drive. When I got there and asked for my order and gave my name-thats when they started cooking it. Something happened between the phone in order and kitchen. It takes about 20 minutes to make!

Excellent staff, and the caso is the best I’ve ever had. Good prices for the portions. And they have $1 beer happy hour from 3pm-8pm. Caesar is the best!! Always trying to expand our tastes!

The food is delicious!!! The wait staff is decent but in their defense I was part of 1 of 3 groups of 14 that came in that day all at the same time so they had to have been overwhelmed. Food is excellent!!
