Wasn’t impressed had tri-tip sandwich it was dry the was bread stale, BBQ sauce was just plain weird and cold?. BBQ sauce was in plastic bottles it was ice cold who puts cold bbq sauce on food. I had to it was the only way itbwas edible. No option to refill a drink. They ask for a tip but do nothing from a service standpoint don’t ask or offer drink re-fills. I would never go here again.
Just an update from owners comments never received money back but that’s ok I should have left the meal there and asked for my money back and went somewhere else. I am not sure how this place has over 4 stars with the many negative reviews. I’m not trying to bash this place the young girl was nice but the food not so much

O M.G!!! Just ordered lunch at Mary’s BBQ Place in Central Point. The place is small but the portions are huge! Check out the potato!!

Mary’s is a small, casual barbecue place with terrific food. Grab a picnic bench and knaw on some ribs like I did. Actually the bones fell right out of the ribs. I really like the jalapeno sauce, it had just the right amount of heat. She serves all the basic BBQ meats and a wide variety of sides. Beverages are from the fountain or the cold case and adult ones are included.

We had Mary’s BBQ cater our wedding. The food tasted fantastic and the setup looked very nice and elegant. We had Tri-tip, chicken, green salad, roasted red potatoes, fruit salad, pasta salad, and rolls. All for a reasonable cost. It was a great combination for an evening dinner on a hot summer day. The caterers arrived on time, looked very professional, and we did not have any wait time as the food was prepared when it was time to eat. We had over 250 people served at this wedding in a rather timely manner. I would highly recommend Mary’s BBQ for weddings or any large gathering!

I finally decided to try Mary’s BBQ in CP. I was not the best experience. The service and staff were great, the smokey aroma was superb, unfortunately there was no tri-tip or brisket available. The chicken was way too dry for being dark meat! The ribs were also dry, really fatty and well done. The meat and juices tasted mostly like liquid smoke. The BBQ sauce on the side was ok, a little too much vinegar flavor. Next time, I will try Goebel’s in Shady Cove, although Baldy”s BBQ in Bend is hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had.
Maybe next time Mary’s will be better, if I decided to try it again. I hear there is an location.

Pricing and portions remind me of a restaurant from 20 years ago.
It feels like you can’t get a burger for less than 20 bucks anywhere, but at Mary’s, $10-$13 will get you a sandwich you can barely finish along the biggest portion of macaroni salad ive been served.
