Tried this today, and sadly, the bread is not only soggy but burned. I wouldn’t recommend. Had high hopes due to good reviews. Expensive as well to be burning bread and making it so soggy.

One thing is for sure: Their sandwiches are delicious. But my GOODNESS why did my husband and I just spend $16-18 on each of our sandwiches/hoagies?! They were so tiny, I honestly broke into laughter. Pictures for reference. Very disappointing

Not sure how I stumbled upon this place, but I’m glad I did. Me and two coworkers checked it out. We are the kind of guys who live to eat, not eat to live. Butchers, Italian sub, awesome, butchers club awesome, butchers pastrami, Reuben awesome.
I heard the owner say to the guy behind us “your back 4 more”… The customer said “it it’s my new favorite”. Not sure what he was ordering, but seemed to be a general theme there people coming back for more.

First time in today at Southern Craft… Been coming to Lafayette for years now and somehow missed this gem. Got the chipotle Philly cheese steak and it was delicious, literally just took the first few bites in my truck after walking out of the place. Joel and Garrett were awesome and gave me some of the backstory on the place. They were awesome and clearly care about the business and the customers. I will definitely be back sooner rather than later!

This is the place to go for sandwiches in Raleigh! I had a half turkey and provolone sandwich and it was delicious! The ciabatta bread was warm and they were very generous with the turkey. They also have great cookies. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and they have a 99 sanitation score. Everything about this place is great!

First let’s say this place is tucked into a back corner of a shopping area but it’s well worth the google search to find it.
The staff were friendly and easy going.
I ordered the large Italian with everything on it a side of the red skin potato salad and a drink.
The sandwich was great, well balanced combo of meat and toppings, the bread is delicious and if you eat soon the bread soaks up just the right amount of juices to make it soft on the inside and just a little crunchy at the crust.
Now let talk about the red skin potato salad!! This stuff is amazing!! No salt or pepper needed, the flavor is great and just the right amount of mayo/dressing. Probably the best red soon potto salad I’ve ever had.
Price was a little on the high side for a sandwich shop but after eating I’ll say it’s worth it! Prices are high everywhere so why complain!
Final thoughts, get in there and get some grub!!

The sandwich was very good. We got the steak hoggie special. However, the prices are too high I believe. The sandwich I ate was worth I think 12 to 13 dollars. We paid 17 each. Just not worth the price when I can have similar alternatives for less. I suppose the extra premium is because it’s in Layfeyette, but for me I wouldn’t come back.

Perfect sandwich! Our first time here -we got the Butchers Italian and it was delicious! Very friendly staff- welcomes everyone with a “hello” and “welcome in”. Excellent choices of sandwiches (hot and cold) and salads. Kids menu too! Everything was so fresh and made to order. We will be back! Thanks for the great lunch!
