The Birria tacos were excellent and the wife got a steak burrito she really enjoyed. We will be back soon, wish we tried them before today.

Fantastic authentic Mexican food. I enjoyed the fajitas and my partner ordered a veggie taco and an al pastor taco. The horchata and hibiscus jaimaca to wash down the food were also excellent. Would love to try their happy hour sometime which is 2-5pm on weekdays. Also a couple of hours on Saturday.

I was visiting over by Madeira Beach for a few days this week and I really wanted some Mexican food. So I looked on Google maps and reviewed the menus of about eight different places and I picked this oneThe menu was big with lots of great choices. I got one of their bowls with rice and beans, chicken, guacamole, and assorted other things. I really wanted to try one of their tacos, made with a cheese shell and I was able to order just one. It was delicious. The waitress was wonderful, very attentive and so pleasant. I will definitely be back next time. I’m in the area. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

My mother & I visited for the first time. I had the regular bowl with carne asada. My mother had the same, but with crispy shrimp (no photo). This is my impression:
CONS:
1. They charge for chips & salsa where other Mexican restaurants don’t.
2. If you want another mild salsa (which is not a lot, the one that comes with the chips) it’s an additional $2.
3. The red salsa in the bottle is SUPER spicy (con for me, but maybe not for you).
4. The green salsa in the bottle lacks salt.
5. The chips should at least be warm. They were not.
6. No coffee. Please add coffee!
PROS:
1. The service was very good.
2. The food tasted good.
3. The portions are just right.
4. The prices are very reasonable.

We tried a variety of items and overall had a great experience!
The horchata was delicious and well-priced—definitely a highlight. The kids were excited about the Mexican Coke bottles, which were also reasonably priced and a fun treat.
As for the food:
• The quesa birria tacos were phenomenal—a solid 5/5 and a must-try.
• The firecracker tacos packed some flavor earning a 4/5.
• The fajita quesadilla was very good as well—generous portions and great taste (4/5).
• The ramen birria was the only miss for us—unfortunately, it lacked flavor (2/5).
Even with that one dish falling short, the rest of the food and the excellent service pushed our experience to a solid 5 stars. Would definitely recommend this place!

Just being real, the food is mediocre, Americanized and very expensive. 3 half-filled birria tacos, rice and beans were $15 with what seemed to be flour tortillas. The choriqueso was ok, as were some loaded fries that someone else at the table ordered. Jamaica aquafresca was good but could be more intensely flavored. Service was basic, like our experiences in Mexico, not like the US, though very friendly. I appreciated the little table with slips for prepaid meals if you are hungry and have no money, so we bought one to add. What a great idea!

This place was recommended to me buy one of my nurses at the Bay Pines VA. I finally broke down and went there… The atmosphere is very clinical so to speak. However, the meal I had was absolutely banging!!! One thing I really appreciate is they have this little nook where if somebody is hungry and needs bite to eat and doesn’t have any money. A prior customer has already paid for their meal in advance!!! What a concept!!! I think more restaurants should do something like this, reference the pictures…

Stopped here on a whim, and I am glad I did. The Guac and Chips were ok, I would probably skip that next time. I had the Chimichanga and it was excellent. The Fajitas were of the Steak variety and that too was excellent. The highlight for me was the Tres Leches Cake. That was one of the best Tres Leches I have had since Key West. The Waitress was great, checked up on us without being overbearing. I will have to go back and try other dishes.

Placed a to go order here to try this place out for the first time and was not disappointed! The staff was friendly and welcoming, the food was hot and fresh and the tacos were delicious!

Visited some friends in the area and went here for dinner. It was highly recommended and I can see why. The food was delicious and atmosphere was great. Had the steak fajitas and they tasted amazing. Definitely will try going back next time I’m in the St. Pete area.
