My husband and I came here on a date as someone told him about this restaurant. We love the location nice spot for a date with a clean, upscale atmosphere and good service. However, the food was just okay and didn’t quite meet our expectations for an upscale restaurant. Caesar salad was delicious though, my crab cake taste good but have had better, his steak was not to his liking. But we had a great time nonetheless.
Presentation was nice, but the flavors lacked depth. Overall, it was decent, but it could have been better.
Love the outdoor lake view would be perfect for summer.
I will definitely try again hopefully it can be a better experience next time around with the food.

Valentine’s Day 2026. Party of two. Our waitress, Jasmine, was great and friendly. Courses came out slower than normal due to the Valentine’s crowd. We ordered two ribeyes both medium rare. Mine had to be sent back as it was tough, dry and no flavor. It took about 15 minutes for a new one to be brought out and it was equal to to my wife’s ribeye. All other courses were good.

Traveling from Philadelphia, I was deeply disappointed with my recent dining experience at this restaurant. Despite hearing numerous positive reviews, I found the service and food to be subpar. I attribute this to the potential impact of the Valentine’s Day rush.
Upon receiving my order, I was presented with a wilted rose, which was a disappointing gesture. Additionally, my waitress’s (Melissa) attentiveness was lacking, and she only visited us briefly. I ordered a rack of lamb well done, but upon receiving it, I discovered that it was not cooked to my desired level of doneness. The meat was excessively red, which was quite unpleasant.
It took approximately 20 minutes for me to receive the waitress’s attention. She inquired if I would like to place a new order, but I declined due to the fact that my plate had already been returned to the kitchen. If my food is not prepared correctly on the first attempt, I will not be returning to this establishment.

Youd figure an upscale place would have good food but after our dinner I had to stop at pizza joint to make up for it. Charcuterie was a bit lacking, salads were the only thing done right which is kinda sad, and the entrées were honestly the worst. My risotto was a bland mushy mess with green onion thrown on and rubbery scallops. Also their colossal shrimp are just jumbos lol. Definitely not getting what you pay for here and you’re paying a lot. Only saving grace was the wait staff and its location on the river.

Excellent!! We were at a Family Gathering within a Banquet Room.
I observed and spoke with several patrons that spoke highly of Their experience.
Definitely worth a visit, also the grounds overlooking the River and Skyline of Phila(parking and Picnic on the banks) for free are worth the visit.

I have attended multiple private events at Riverwinds and each time never ceases to amaze me. The food, the drinks, the service, and the overall atmosphere has been nothing but spectacular. The serving size of the dinners is not only well over enough but absolutely delicious. I am so happy with every event I’ve attended.

Very pleasant atmosphere right on the river. Service was very good. We did the family style thanksgiving. I would say food was very good. A couple dishes were just ok. Portions were a little small. $50 for a turkey dinner is a little over priced, but we knew that going in and it was a holiday. Overall we enjoyed our meal and atmosphere.

We had thanksgiving dinner here and it was excellent! The place was beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. We had a table water side. It was really nice. I opted for the filet instead of traditional thanksgiving dinner, and my wife had the fish. One of our other part members got the thanksgiving feast. Everyone loved their meals. I had a pear old fashioned that was absolutely amazing! With drinks the meal worked out to roughly $100 per person. I look forward to coming back in the summer months to enjoy the view while it’s still light outside.

I was there for a funeral/memorial service. The room was set up beautifully.
The entree choices were crabcake (which BTW looked amazing!) and Ribeye. My piece of steak, and I noticed a few others, were quite fatty/grisly and I had to discreetly spit out a piece I could not chew. It had a great flavor though.
