Everything here fell into place. Delicious food, great service, ample parking, and a clean atmosphere. The corn nuggets were perfect. My main dish was a chicken BBQ salad, with a side of coleslaw. So good. Barbecue places abound in Florida. Sonny’s deserves to be on any top ten list.

We stopped by today for some lunch
Our server today was Carrie
Today we had :
APPETIZER:
Corn nuggets w/ side of ranch and powdered sugar.
MAIN ENTRÉE:
*pulled pork sandwich, sweet potato waffle fries, side of baked beans
Beverage:
Arnold Palmer ( tea w/ lemonade)
* Corn cake topped with pulled pork ,coleslaw, crispy onion straw drizzled with their signature BBQ sauce
Beverage:
Sweet tea
*grilled Cuban sandwich
W/ French fries
Beverage:
Sweet tea
Unfortunately we didn’t have any room for desert at the end of our meal for we were full. I hope to stop by here if I am ever in the area again and try something off their desert menu.
Our server Carrie was extremely polite and professional, we had the best experience here today and it was all thanks to Carrie.

I got a brisket sandwich through the drive through and specifically asked for it to be sliced and lean, which is usually never a problem it’s always perfect with just a little bit of fat from the cap. I looked at the sandwich when I got it and it was more fat than meat. I went in and asked to have it remade and the cook told me that was just how it was going to be there’s always going to be fat from the cap. I know that and that is not at all what the problem was, it looked like it was from the point of the brisket where most of the fat is instead of the flat. So he remade it, and I hear him in the back telling someone just to cut the cap off. He then gives me a sandwich that’s the same if not worse than the first one and basically says to deal with it. I’ve never had this issue but if that’s how it’s going to be I’ll get brisket somewhere else with better customer service. Picture is of the second sandwich

Food was absolutely delicious but nobody greeted us for the first 7 minutes just kept walking by checking their phones in the back than was told they were claning off our table just to get led to our table 5 minutes later to it being dirty. I then had to get up after 8 minutes of sitting at the table to go ask for it to be wiped down properly like the lady said she was going to do. Than our appetizer came out the same time all the food came out and had to get up again to ask for silverware that shouldve been brought to table as we were seated. The food was amazing but the service was horrible and the ladies working there seemed a little too big for their pants. Would not recommend to anyone traveling if your looking for good service

Went to Sonny’s today in Bushnell with my Grandma. The lady at the door seen my grandma was having trouble walking and gave us the first table close to the door. The waitress Carrie was on point and understanding with my Grandma and her hearing issue. She kept our drinks filled constantly and checked on us throughout our visit. The food was hot and tasted great. Definitely will be back soon!

There were 13 of us and a toddler. They were the only restaurant that would accommodate our party. We came from the Sumter County Florida National Cemetery. We just laid a family member to rest. The waitress was fantastic, I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. The food was great. They didn’t try to rush us out. Thank you.

I came in for lunch today and Carrie was my waitress. Really enjoyed her service. She checked in on me often but wasnt overbearing. I enjoy more quiet when I eat so this made me really happy
