Dedicated gluten free! The waffles are made fresh to order, and they always have regular flavor and a seasonal flavor. You can select what toppings you’d like from a variety of options. The drink options are also plentiful and delicious! Full coffee bar and tea options. The sitting area is so cozy and adorable. Well designed. We live locally and I always get cravings for this gem of a place!

I visited Cordial Coffee and ordered an iced caramel macchiato, with one of their waffles. Everything tasted great, and service was friendly. The atmosphere was old-fashioned and cozy. I even bought one of their in-house made lavender syrups for my lattes at home. Thank you 🙂

Mmkay, so I went to this coffee shop in downtown Berryville, Virginia, mmkay? And lemme tell ya, it’s, like, real nice, mmkay? The place has this antique vibe, you know—old wood, comfy chairs, a bunch of rooms you can wander into like you’re in some fancy grandma mansion, mmkay? And there’s plants everywhere, mmkay? Like, it’s practically a jungle, but, like, a clean, cozy jungle, mmkay?
The baristas? Super friendly, mmkay. They actually care if you like your drink, mmkay? None of that “here’s your coffee, leave me alone” attitude. Nah, these folks smile and talk to you like you’re not a total weirdo for ordering a triple-shot oat milk latte with extra foam, mmkay?
And the parking? Yeah, tons of it. You don’t have to circle around like a maniac trying to find a spot, mmkay? You just park, stroll in, and boom—coffee heaven, mmkay?
Now, the coffee… hooo boy, mmkay. This is the good stuff. Smooth, rich, not burnt garbage like you get at those chain places, mmkay? You take one sip, and your brain’s like, “Oh yeah, this is what caffeine was meant to be,” mmkay?
So yeah, if you’re in Berryville and you don’t stop by this place, you’re making a bad life choice, mmkay? Coffee’s amazing, atmosphere’s killer, people are nice, and you can actually park your car. That’s, like, all you need in life, mmkay?

Came here for some coffee and got a cold brew with these cute little ghosts painted on the side and a pumpkin waffle. The coffee was delicious, and the waffle was just a touch of pumpkin which was exactly what we wanted. The space is really cute, you sort of feel like you’re hanging in the apartment of your most welcoming friend. Highly recommend.

Coffee was good. A little less sweet than I’m used to but I think that’s because they use maple syrup for certain drinks and their own house made syrups for other drinks. If you like your drink sweeter, you can always request it. Now… The gluten free waffles I can legit testify this is the best waffle I’ve ever had. Since hitting 30, I haven’t been able to tolerate wheat products and I miss out on so many food items I used to love. Cordial is now my go-to for my favorite breakfast food! Their waffles are so decadent, they’re basically dessert! I had the pumpkin spice waffle that is currently the special and, let me tell you, I literally moaned when I took the first bite. I didn’t even get to eat this waffle right away because we had plans. It sat in the car for six hours That’s telling in itself of how good it was to still be just as flavorful and wafflelicious six hours later! We will definitely be back! Next time, I hope to sit and chill in one of the comfy-looking couches while sipping my latte and gorging on a gluten free waffle

Okay coffee unfortunately. There is potential but idk, just not mind blowing. Worth hitting for a hangout and something different – they’ve got a cute interior and a vibe going. The pancake we got was goodish but so expensive. Yeah, try your luck!

I had a delicious latte and warm oatmeal while enjoying this amazing historic space, complete with some great porch seating. Was a great spot to rest and recharge while traveling through the area!

I want to love Cordial because I live locally, so I keep coming back time and again. Each time, I leave frustrated – the wait is consistently at least 10 minutes (today I waited 12 minutes and there were two drink orders and no food orders in front of me). The staff always seems slightly annoyed to be at work. The coffee itself is fine – not spectacular but it is consistent, which I appreciate. I will be returning (see above comment about living locally, and note that there are no other coffee shops in Berryville) with the hope that one day Cordial lives up to its potential as a cute and charming small town coffee shop.

I am a fiend for coffee shops and my family and I traveled over an hour to give Cordial Coffee a shot.
In terms of atmosphere, Cordial is one of the coolest coffee shops that I’ve been to in a long time. The building, the decorations, the seating, the ability to throw on a literal record and play it while you sip coffee – I loved it.
The coffee and food was okay. I’m willing to look the other way on a lot when a coffeeshop does their own roasting (and their vintage roaster in the main lobby is incredible). I ordered a latte and while it was good, but I wasn’t blown away. It lacked the full-bodied flavor that you’d expect from coffee that was freshly roasted. We had to order waffles, because that seemed like a cool combination and they were fine too. I’ve had great waffles in my life (see my other reviews) and these aren’t going to top any of my lists, especially at the price point (more on that later).
The other bummer for me was the staff. I’ll say up front that no one was rude, but there was no warmth or friendliness about them. Again, they didn’t do anything wrong, but they made me feel like I was imposing on them and it left the whole interaction feeling a little awkward. For example, when we ordered waffles the cashier literally turned around and apologized to the employee cleaning the waffle machine. Again, I get it, but we were ordering their speciality food well within business hours so I wouldn’t imagine that would be an inconvenience.
Now, back to the price. Coffee shops are typically expensive, I’ve got a grid for that and I’m okay paying a little more to support a local business. My family and I paid $60 for two lattes, two waffles, one hot chocolate and a bag of beans. That’s a $10 average per item, which is crazy. Another small thing that bothered me is that they didn’t have their prices listed anywhere. They have a great menu with lots of different options, but no prices so we went into the purchase pretty blind until we were rung up.
All in all, Cordial is a cool spot and worth a stop if you’re in the area, but not worth the hour drive we took to check it out.

Absolutely love this place! The coffee is consistently excellent — smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed every time. The baristas are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to work, read, or catch up with friends. Their pastries are fresh and delicious, and there’s a great selection of non-dairy milk options too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality coffee and a welcoming atmosphere! Would love a cold foam option!
