Operated by students in the Big Sky Culinary Program, the Blackfoot Café offers a cost-friendly student designed menu that rotates weekly. The Cafe is open to the public and serves food Tues-Thurs when the University is in session (closed over Summer and Winter breaks, Holidays, etc).

The three stars is due to timing. I order here once a week and the two times I’ve gotten food to-go, I was the first to order, yet multiple people with to-go and sit down service were receiving food before me. Both to-go times were at least 30 minutes wait and today it was for grilled chicken on a salad(I was the first to order when they opened). I would recommend working on timing especially if you want to make it in the food and beverage industry.

The food and staff are both amazing. The atmosphere is okay, they’re doing the best with what they have. Exceptional for a culinary program, and pretty damn good even if it wasn’t. I always look forward to doing with my husband.
