Please visit this place but best to do it early in the day. Absolutely some of the best seafood we have had in a long time. Little River Waterfront is a cozy home town feel kinda place. A must see if you are visiting North Myrtle Beach. We shared the Seafood Platter. Plenty for the both of us. Lots of fish – Grouper and the catch of the day (today was sea bass), 4 shrimp, 1 crab cake and 1 devil crab. Hush Puppies, fries and coleslaw. The view was beautiful and right on the water. They have a small seating area inside and a good bit of seating outside. Thank you Crab Catcher’s for a delightful meal, courteous staff and great atmosphere.

We had both lunch with drinks, then dinner with drinks on the same day. It’s a canal waterfront seafood place. Food was good for both visits. We were planning on a different place for dinner, but their online menu said they had KING crab legs, so we ended up going back for dinner, only to find out they quit selling king crab 5+ years ago. The food we did have was very good. Prices were good, especially for the amount. Drinks were good, but overpriced. They come out in small plastic cups and start at $8 and go up.

Fun, casual place for incredibly fresh seafood. The crab legs were outstanding, the portions are generous and the service was fast and friendly. Loved the hush puppies and crab cakes too. I’m not usually a coleslaw fan, but even that was delicious. Had a fantastic hazy IPA and paired perfectly with the food. This is going to be a regular stop any time we visit the area.

We had such a wonderful first experience at Crabcatchers Waterfront Restaurant , Little River SC. The prices were great, the service was quick, and the whole atmosphere felt friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in.
Our waitress was absolutely delightful—super kind, attentive, and genuinely made us feel right at home. One of my sides (mashed potatoes) wasn’t ready yet, and without missing a beat, she brought out a generous helping of delicious fries to hold me over. She also introduced me to something I’d never tried before: fried corn on the cob. I have to admit, it was delicious.
Now the seafood… wow. My fried oysters were incredibly fresh, huge in size, and I counted around 15 on my plate. Talk about value. My husband ordered the fried shrimp, and his plate was just as impressive—big portions, perfectly cooked, and he said they were some of the best-tasting fresh shrimp he’s ever had. The quantity and quality were both true “wow” factors.
We highly praise this restaurant and its amazing staff. They turned our first visit into a memorable one, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Crab Catchers! We sat in the deck, even though it was 98 degrees out, and it was really nice! The shades helped block the sun and we enjoyed it. The view is incredible! Our server, Rosie, was so sweet. We were the only guests outside and she was so accommodating and did not neglect us at all! She kept our drinks full! We enjoyed the steamed shrimp and must say they are very generous with portion sizes. We will be back for sure!!

I come here once every time I come to North Myrtle. This place is always amazing. The drinks are just right, the food is delicious. You may have to fight for a seat for the bar but its worth it to hang out! Highly reccomend the crab bites and an ICW!

Absolutely the best seafood that we have had in a long time. We got the clam chowder and blue crab bites, they were delicious. We also ordered low country boil with 2 lbs of snow crab legs. The drinks were amazing. We absolutely loved this restaurant, no complaints at!!!!

I got the clam chowder soup and it was ok, it was kinda milky tasting not worth 10 dollars. I got lightly fried shrimp (very good) with fried corn not all that, if they would let it soak in a butter bath may be better. The cole slaw was bland and the hush puppies were good. My husband got grouper and he said it was good. Some friends got grouper but received very small pieces but said it was good and so were there mashed potatoes. They got 2 cocktails (10 each) they said very weak. Our waitress Alana was good and checked on us. She did make a mistake on our bill, it had 108.00 first and when I told her about it she corrected it and it went down to 74.00. So pay attention to your bill. They also do military and senior discounts.

First time in South Carolina from Chicago and what caught my attention was the Mmmm Mmmm mmm smell on the way to see the dolphins which we saw crab catcher was responsible for such a desirable smell. We had to leave that day but the next day in Myrtle beach walking the boardwalk oh that smell and hunger led us st8 to a 45 min drive. Well Worth it!!! I Loved the crabby burger and with that little bit of soup with it wow thank you and I will definitely be back! Waitress was nice she even got me some jalapeños lol Gracias p.s the ladies and I loved the crab cake’s and hush puppies as well
