This place was incredible! Looks like a museum or an antique shop. Waitresses are super friendly. Food was great. Portions were small, prices were high for the amount of food. Was worth the trip to see though.

My wife and I drove there from Hamilton Alabama which is about an hour and a half away. This place was recommended to Us by someone who who lived in the area.
When you walk in it’s like a plethora of oddities. It really is almost like walking into someone’s attic because you see things here and there. We both my wife and I had the same thing and we split a hot dog. The food was fantastic and it came out pretty quickly. The only setback is some of the chairs are metal and they do get kind of irritating to sit in after about 45 minutes. So when you come in and look for a table with cushion seats and not the tin chairs. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s passing through just because of the nostalgia of it. The city has done a really good job of keeping people in the old buildings in downtown and making the place look fantastic. Go by and support this place it’s worth every dollar that you spend in every mile that you drive. They also have these mystery dinner theater is going on there. We and I think that would be fantastic.

This place is a blast from the past. The decor is vintage and elicits a feel of nostalgia the moment you walk in the door. From the old fashioned CocaCola signs to the seasonal Halloween decor, it has a nice vibe. The food is delicious and southern. I recommend the fried green tomatoes.

Husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time and enjoyed it! The atmosphere speaks for itself. I’d guess you’d see something new here no matter how often you visited! Candy store in the front is a fun touch for kids of all ages. If Main St is super busy, there is convenient parking and restaurant entrance in the back, too. Friendly, fast service. Food arrived promptly, hot and delicious. We tried the pot pie, side salad, onion rings, and beer cheese soup. All was very tasty. My husband ordered an IPA beer, too. We took 2 pieces of pie to go, and they were yummy as well. Cost came to $50 + tip. In short, food, service, and.super fun and fascinating atmosphere including a sunken bar, earn EATIN’ in the ATTIC 5 stars across the board from us.

When you’re looking for a quirky, eccentric restaurant with excellent food and impeccable service in Hartselle, Alabama, this is the place. Every experience I’ve had here has been exceptional. This trip i tried the chicken cordon blue with fried green beans, my husband had the rueben sandwich on rye and my daughter had a big thick juicy hamburger. All meals were delicious and yes I tried them all! We had a HUGE slice of chocolate cake too which tasted like devils food and chocolate mousse. Even their water is delicious! The only upset I had was that they’re always out of their strawberry lemonade cake which I’ve been wanting to try, but the chocolate cake was a good substitute!

The food was good. The service was a little slow but was expected when food was made fresh. The atmosphere goes perfectly with the name!! The people eating there go there a lot and were very friendly. I would definitely go back if in Hartselle, Alabama again.

Fun if not a bit overwhelming place to check out all kinds of historic memorabilia and eat decent food. The menu has a good variety of choices.

My wife and I both had the Fried Green Tomatoes BLT, hers with a side of onion rings and mine with the baked Mac n Cheese. The sandwiches were tasty even though our bacon was nearly burned and in small pieces rather than strips.

It was a busy night and we suspect the staff was a bit overwhelmed. Perhaps that’s why service was slow and the food took forever to arrive. (And why my Mac n Cheese was warm, not hot.)

We were with some locals who said the food and service were usually better so that’s why I didn’t remove another full star overall. Every restaurant can have an off night.

I’d like to try again when they aren’t so busy, and to check out other items on the menu. For example, one person at our table had a patty melt that looked really good.

What an interesting place. I’ve never seen a mix of decor like this. Very cool concept. We ordered the bacon chicken ranch wrap as well as the Buffalo chicken wrap. The food quality was good. The Buffalo sauce was hot and very tasty. They also have a happy hour. You should try this place for a light meal it won’t disappoint.

2nd time there, and we enjoyed it both times. The atmosphere is really nice, interesting little bits and things .. as the name suggests, you’re surrounded by items you might find in your great- grandmother’s attic. The food was perfectly cooked and presented, nothing wasted fancy, just nicely put together and cooked right. I’ll be back again.
… just notice it has a bar there. It’s a bit hidden. It looks like it’s well equipped; I’ll have to explore that on another trip.
