The guys who work behind the counter have no idea how to take and fulfill orders… total chaos. Forgets orders, can’t find items on the system, put in wrong orders, don’t know how to make the drinks (didn’t know that they had to foam the milk for cappuccino), slow…

Most of the Bad reviews given are not related to the food at all and instead relate to mundane occurrences with no relationship to the actual restaurant experience.

Needles to say this is my GO TO spot. It is one of the few restaurants that uses extremely high quality ingredients. Along with cooking expertise the resulting culinary experience is definetly one of if not the best in croton falls.

If you haven’t gone to hygrade you’re doing yourself a disservice. And if you dont ask for a recommendation from the amazing family of staff you’re depriving yourself of an extraordinary meal.

Hygrade market remains on a level of its own. There is a reason it is my go to for a meal after work after all.

As far as service goes it’s great the lady at the front is always kind. However when it comes to food and cost it a diffrent story. For a small iced latte is about 5 dollars as well it taste mostly like milk. Pastry’s are about as hard and bland as can be and some of the food items are a bit tasteless. I use the train station about 6/7 days a week so I’d really like to buy here but the quality def needs some work.

Delicious food! Excellent quality, wonderful fresh ingredients which were seasoned to perfection. We had steak fajitas with black beans and rice. Sautéed fresh peppers and onions! Yummy! Lots of choices depending upon what you like and how hungry you are.
Brian was the person who assisted us and he was great!

The hygrade market used to be a great place for great food 20 years ago, well things have changed. Was going fishing with my father for fathers day. Went in and ordered a bagel with lox and cream cheese and one toasted with butter. THE OWNER SHOULD BE ASHAMED for what they served. Horrible bagel was so hard, asked for cream cheese, no cream cheese. Would have went back but was already in the river when It was realized. YOU GUYS SUCK. THANKS FOR NOTHING. It was thrown in the garbage. If you’re not gonna bring it everyday in the food business then go home! AND IT WAS $21 TO BOOT!

Friends just moved nearby. Came here for dinner and a beer. Burgers, sandwiches, and tacos. Nothing fancy, but everything was DELICIOUS. Perfectly spiced, good portions. Nice selection of craft beers in their back fridge. It’s a mixed aesthetic… micr9 grocery, counter service, pub… could do for dimmer lights and table candles.
Highly recommend.

Nice staff but was very disappointed to learn that they no longer sell craft beer, despite it being advertised on multiple signs on the exterior of the shop. Definitely need to update, especially for the commuters stopping in expecting to buy a beverage

Stopped in for the classic BEC, technically SBEC. Anyway, I have to say this was the best egg sandwich I have had ANYWHERE in the surrounding area in a very long time. Mahopac. Carmel, somers, brewster, Kent, south Salem, north Salem, bedford etc etc. I travel all over for work and stop at many places.

Hands down the best I’ve had. Roll was slightly toasted which gave the sandwich extra flavor. Eggs cooked perfectly. Bacon crispy, not chewy like 99% of the delis around here.

Highly highly recommend and will be back for other types of sandwiches.
