So we came in for the first time yesterday. I’ve been following you all for a while and was so excited to get some treats for today. We got some normal doughnuts as well as some fasnachts.
Sadly we were not very impressed.
My chocolate peanut butter one tasted like cinnamon?
The fasnachts tasted like lemon.
And the Boston cream pie one got thrown away.
All of them had a strange taste, very hard to explain but it wasn’t good. None of them tasted like they should either.
Maybe we just got a bad batch? Maybe something was off?
We’re from a different town, maybe our donuts taste different?
I wouldn’t discourage anyone from going here, but I don’t think we will be back.

Today, I ordered a coffee and a dozen donuts. The coffee was awful. Whoever made it didnt know what they were doing.
I’ve been here multiple times to pick up donuts, coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The food is always good. My favorite donut is the coconut custard. Its usually busy and the ladies at the counter are running around assisting customers. I wish there was more seating indoors.

I love that there are more locally owned bakery starting to show up in the area with fresh donuts and a wide variety. This place is great. They had so many different options and the service was fantastic. The donuts were fresh and they were good. Very fluffy and large. Update: we placed our second order online and they didn’t have all the donuts apparently that we ordered so they literally were making them fresh on the spot when we got there! That’s customer service! Hopefully you can open a spot in Carlisle!

Heard a lot about Dough n Joe, the donuts fried in beef tallow. Well, you can definitely taste the difference. Very light but packed with flavor. Servers were super polite, very helpful during a busy Christmas Eve. Check these donuts out!

Went on Christmas eve for our second time to grab donuts bright and early, was pleased with the selection but this most recent time trying we were not pleased with how soft of a fry the donut has. It’s missing texture now, this is specifically talking about the cream filled ones as that was 95% of our dozen order. Before, it felt like they were a little more chewy in a good way. I’m not sure if we will be back which is disappointing because the flavor is definitely there!

This was our first time here.
Atmosphere (5/5): The shop itself was very clean and spacious.
Service (5/5): The service was great. We came in at 7am on Presidents’ Day and there was no line.
Food (4/5): We bought a dozen donuts and enjoyed all of them. We bought cream, jelly filled, blueberry filled, strawberry sprinkle, blueberry cake, etc. The donuts were very good, with my favorite being the jelly filled. The blueberry cake donut was slightly dry.

The older woman at the front counter was the most lovely human ever. I didn’t catch her name, she had shorter hair with glasses. We can’t thank her enough for her smile and good vibes! The donuts are delicious and we will be coming back just to see her for amazing service! We live 40 minutes away but we love the service! Couldn’t recommend more.

We had a dozen of your donuts yesterday for the first time after hearing rave reviews from friends, and our oldest daughter who said the quality of the donuts were amazing. We decided to get a box variety so we could try different flavors. As someone who does not have much sugar in their diet, it was a treat because they were not overly sweet. My favorites were definitely the glazed cake donuts; I tried the pumpkin, blueberry, and lemon…try the lemon and blueberry together, it’s a great combo! The only disappointment my family had was with the peanut butter filled, the filling is very light, but a little too sweet and does not have a strong peanut butter flavor. If you are craving donuts, this is the place to go!

Not much to say but these are some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. We were on our way back from Philadelphia and stopped for a dozen, an extra donut and an apple fritter.
The apple fritter was filled with apple filling and all the other donuts were filled nicely. Also the donuts are not too sweet so you don’t get a sugar high when having a donut. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely stop by for 2 dozen this time.

Visited here for the first time a couple weeks ago and have nothing but rave reviews! We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The donuts are a good size, with lots of filling and/or toppings. There is a huge variety to pick from – tried and true faves and many unique flavors. All are fresh and delicious! Personal fave was the toasted coconut – yum! Stop in to get your favorites soon – you will be happy you did!
