This is a family style seating with shared soup, sides and salad. But personal entrees and dessert you get off the menu. Also the wine is included!
Overall everything was lovely, the food was tasty (and a great value for money). Also since there is family style seating its a great way to meet new people. I had a wonderful conversation with a family also traveling through.
I would highly recommend anyone visiting Winnemucca to visit, its a great and unique experience!

Excellent meal, great service, & very nice dinner companions. This place has been on my list to visit for years. The family style Basque courses were tasty & plentiful, topped off with delicious lamb chops.

This place is fantastic! Great service, food and atmosphere. We had the lamb shank and the chicken fried chicken (with probably the best mashed potatoes ever) which was delicious! The bartender was incredibly sweet as well. Don’t miss this treasure!

I overheard that they just reopened so i am happy to find them The food was all amazing perfectly seasoned and cooked steak with really good mashed potatoes and gravy on top. The bartender, who helped me, was very nice and it seems the locals around here are all welcoming. Will be back again soon.

Stopped on a whim while passing through Winnemucca and had an exceptional dinner. The Martin Hotel serves Basque food family style, picking one entree per person (or split it!). You’ll be served bread, wine, soup, salad, sides, and your entree. All the food was delicious, the service fast and friendly, and the portions were HUGE. Highly recommend if you like to eat good food!

Meals are served family style, meaning your will sit at a large table with people you don’t know and share sides with them. It was a great experience. We sat with a family from Wyoming and it was amazing! Loved every minute of it and will definitely come back.

On a road trip and decided to stop for lunch. Since it was about 2pm, it wasn’t crowded.
Fantastic old-fashioned Inn. Great bar. I was shocked when the beer delivery showed and they opened a trap door in the floor behind the bar. It was an old cellar. Kind of a cool thing to have.
Service was great.
The wife ordered a French dip. It came with a side and soup or salad. I ordered a lamb shank. We both ordered mashed potatoes and a salad. The French dip was a little on the chewy side. She said that the meat was sliced just a tad too thick. Oh well, it sure looked good. The lamb shank was pure perfection. Lots of garlic and fall-off-the-bone tender.

A group of 6 of us went because they have a basque menu. The food was delicious and plentiful. I ordered liver and onions and others ordered various beef cuts & one person ordered salmon.

We were absolutely impressed with this restaurant! I would give them higher than a 5 if I could. You get soup, salad, beans, three sides, your dinner, dessert, and wine with your meal. The food was incredible and the tastes were diverse. We will be back in Winnemucca just so we can eat here again!
