This place has a very typical Italian vibe and is quite spacious, with plenty of seating. We called ahead to ask about reservations and were told walk-ins were welcome, which was great.
We were greeted warmly, and the bread was served right away—soft, warm, and delicious, which set the tone for the meal.
The food itself was really good, and when we asked for pesto sauce, they did get some for us. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. Overall, we had a great meal and were happy to discover this spot—it was definitely a good find! ✨

Maggianos is a well known Italian restaurant serving up a wide range of Italian dishes in the Back Bay area.
We came here for a birthday dinner, and it was overall a great experience. Each of the pasta dishes were well cooked, none were overcooked and each had the right consistency. The shrimp scampi stood out as one of our favorites, although the salads were also good as well.
It is a perfect location for a birthday dinner or date night.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent food. We went there twice and were not dissapointed. Our server, Pedro, was great! He was patient and made our experience pleasant. We made a reservation for 9 and were seated immediately upon arrival. It was our daughters birthday and they came out with a delicious piece of cake with candles, and sang to her. This was a beautiful moment and worth the time to come and eat here.

We had dinner at Maggiano’s before a show at the Wang. Our waiter, Patrick, was wonderful! He knew about our show and made sure we had plenty of time before it started. He was attentive and very personable. He made the experience so much more enjoyable!! All the food was amazing. Wine, espresso martini and a virgin cocktail to start. The Cesar salad was great but the crotons were the star of the show! Mushroom ravioli, stuffed shells, chicken Alfredo and a filet for dinner, all were delicious, cooked to perfection and the portions were well worth the price! The butter cake and apple crostada for dessert were the perfect ending to the meal. We couldn’t have asked for a better dinner. We cannot wait to return!!

I managed to get myself here for a quiet dinner prior to seeing a show in theatre district in a cold winter night. Had a pomegranate drink that was pretty delightful. It was quiet when I first arrived and quickly became busy with folks who were going to shows that night. The ravioli was mentioned in another review.. it was great. And the tiramisu which I’m becoming a connessieur of- was fantastic.

This is my favorite Italian place in Boston that serves authentic Italian food. The interior of the place makes you feel that it’s been in business for quite some time. The food and the service were both great. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us pick our dishes. I had their famous rigatoni pasta and it is to die for. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Olive Garden (almost) food at boutique bistro prices. App (zucchini) was good but came after the salad. Chop salad was decent. Shrimp scampi was bland and two of the seven shrimp were almost raw inside. Spaghetti and meatball was very bland. The meatball was barely warm inside. I asked for salt and the shaker was clogged. I took the top off to access the salt and the rim of the shaker was gross with caked on salt… see photo. Service was almost non-existent. I would have ordered more wine if she’d have come around. My guess is that other area options would be better choices. I gave them a two based on the zucchini.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Maggiano’s. The dishes we tried were all incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented – it’s clear that the chefs really know what they’re doing. Every bite was a delight, and I left completely satisfied. The service was top-notch as well; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
