Oh no.. not worth the calories or the price. Beef is salty and bizarre texture. Chicken was more of a gloop.. Pico was 70% cumin, tomatillo salsa was water. Chips were nice, though. Cannot recommend at all.

First time at Barberitos and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered a burrito and a spinach tortilla quesadilla. Both entrées came with chips and salsa, were freshly made, and decently portioned. Loved the self-service salsa bar. The employees working were patient and very friendly.

My Girlfriend and I went to Barberitos last evening for dinner. I have not been in the restaurant itself in a while due to life but I am happy to report that the Restaurant is very clean, well kept and wheelchair accessible. The Menu has not changed much either. Still have all the same items as they had before. I will include on this post a Camera Shot of the Current Menu items. As always, they are a California Style Mexican Fast Food using the Subway build to customize and tailor every dish to the consumer. My Girlfriend has never been before, I let her go first in the line but I made the mistake thinking that she would understand how and what to order. Best she ended up getting a Steak Quesadilla but what I should have done was go first to give her the better idea of how to order verses what to order. Everything on the menu is good food, but I believe that she would rather have not ended up with a Cup of Lettuce, cup of Tomatoes, cup of Sour Cream, etc… Whereas I ordered Nachos and had them pile all my extra on top and go from there. Either way, My Girlfriend and I had a good dinner together, we were happy that Barberitos was a part of it. Their restaurant is clean, plenty of parking, Wheelchair accessible as well, and The Staff are friendly & helpful.

Barberitos Southwestern Grille & Cantina has a great kids menu for kids under 12 years old.
I like the chicken and steak burritos with chips and salsa made fresh.

Professional and courteous employees. The food is tasty and fresh. The atmosphere is west Knoxville with a bit of 1970’s California Beach feel. Outdoor seating is available on an ungated patio. Dogs are welcome outside. Try the Friday fish taco. It’s grilled instead of fried, but pretty tasty regardless. Enjoy!

Dang, this place is great! IMO better quality than Moe’s and Salsarita’s. Generous servings, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Kids under 12 eat free on Saturday with a regular entree purchase. Guac is fresh made too.
