One of the best pizzas I have had in my life. Spaghetti was equally good. Portion size is big. The sweet old lady is so warm. It was a great experience.

We ordered a few dishes and they were genuinely great. Then we tried the pizza… and oh boy. I eat frozen pizza all the time, and I could tell this one was basically a frozen pizza thrown in the oven. Definitely not fresh.
The funniest part? The owner is Italian. I joked that they might actually try to take away her Italian citizenship for serving a pizza like that.
But to be fair, everything else was really good and the staff were super attentive. It’s worth going, just skip the pizza.

This is a strange Italian restaurant. We asked for focaccia, which came out as a flat pizza bread, and the chicken tendera were covered in chinese 5-spice. The pasta menu really catered for vegetarians, and so I opted for a steak and chips (which was actually good).

We arrived just as the kitchen closed but all we wanted was a tea and an espresso which the staff happily served to us. We sat and enjoyed our beverages sitting in the pretty outside patio. They were kind and cool staff. Can’t wait to go back and eat! Thank you

Stephanie & her staff were amazing! A wonderful atmosphere with delicious Italian cuisine. I loved the simplicity and uncomplicated food offerings. Will most definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Excellent restaurant. Food was very fresh, delicious and authentically Italian. Freshly caught tuna carpaccio, risotto cooked to order, and thin, crisp and tasty pizzas. Stephanie, the new owner since since May 2024 is a terrific host.

Low level pizza, very disappointing. Same crust texture as a frozen undercooked supermarket pizza, that says it all. Worst pizza I’ve eaten in a restaurant in the north in a long time.

Good Restaurant with Room of Improvement!
Had a nice time for dinner at La Cigale. Quiet atmosphere, probably because the restaurant was not crowdy at that moment.
Food was okayish (had tagliatelle with Hawaiian sauce). The price, especially for the steaks seemed to be exorbitant. Sad that I didn’t try the pizzas as they looked great and loved the fact that they have a live cooking station for the pizzas.
Staff were nice, well-mannered and focused in their work.
Payment unfortunately is by cash or Juice (Internet Banking) only. Would have been great if they could provide payment by card facilities. I paid via Juice. However I had issues connecting to internet due to poor mobile data commection. So, that was stressing. Would have been great if there was wifi.
