Alvarez Taco Truck is one of those places you’re glad you stumbled across. It sits in the corner of the fuel stop gas station parking lot at Prospect and Sunnyvale Saratoga Road.
The ladies working here are always so kind and welcoming, and you can tell they put care into everything they make. The asada tacos are my go-to. They are juicy, flavorful, and disappear way too fast. The chicken burrito is another favorite, stuffed full and packed with flavor all the way through.
This is easily one of the best taco spots around, and once you try it you will keep finding excuses to come back. No better options in the area.

Amazing Mexican food. The asada very flavorful and not all fat and chewy. The burritos are a good size and grilled outside. The quesadillas and torta also amazing. I’ve had the asada, chorizo and pastor. Quesadilla came with a side salad that was very refreshing

I’ve only had great food here. The nopal taco is delicious, the cabeza is flavorful and tender, the carnitas and chicken are also very very good. But Alvarez Food Truck shrimp burrito is the best burrito I’ve ever had. It’s so incredibly good.
