We enjoyed a fantastic meal with awesome service. It was my girlfriends birthday and it couldn’t have went any better! She had the Prime rib and I had the surf and turf ! Absolutely delicious. The house dressing is a must also. We’ll definitely be going back!

The food, service, and atmosphere – is all warm and comfortable. The environment is country home, and reminded me of some places i visited in Tennessee. The owner walks around and tidies up the empty tables, nabbing sure everything is just so.
I had the catfish platter. My wife had the 10 ounce steak. Everything was great and made to order.
I hear it’s difficult to find a parking spot in the summer because the campers from Rend Lake eat here.

Had excellent service, promptly seated, menu and drinks brought out. Once our order was taken we received our meal relatively quickly. Our waitress came back within a few minutes to see if the steak was cooked correctly.
I had the 14oz Ribeye, great flavor cooked perfectly. I opted for the steak fries. Not pictured was the salad.

I had the 14oz ribeye, which I have always gotten. The ribeye was no comparison to the other times I have been there. The ribeye tonight was tough, full of fat, had a lot of gristle and zero flavor, ribeyes normally have a delicious flavor on their own, this did not have any flavor at all. It was cooked medium rare just like I ordered it is the only positive concerning the steak. Our waitress was amazing.
I am not saying the establishment or the service was bad, only the steak itself on this particular occasion. It was sent back after only a few bites and ticket adjusted.

Prime rib delicious as well as fettuccine Alfredo. Their poppy seed dressing was good too. Our waitress Megan was great as well as atmosphere of this 28 yr old restaurant

Locally owned. It is hard to evaluate since 2 large groups came before us and they were running out of things. They did their best to be accommodating. Prime rib was good, although mine was a bit thin. Out of baked potatoes but the vegie kabob replacements were good.

I so enjoyed my dinner and the atmosphere. I sat at the bar, and Emma, the bartender, greeted me right away. I had the surf and turf dinner, and it was cooked to perfection. Emma then suggested the cheesecake and let me tell it was sooo good!!! I’m just passing through the area, so I probably won’t be back, but it’s a definite stop if you are in the area!!!

I absolutely love my experience here. Tonight was the first night I had ever been and it could not have gone better. Every bit of staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was great and don’t even get me started on their steaks. Menu is a bit smaller but has everything you would need for a great dinner. 10/10 would recommend.

Our server was great. She was friendly and very attentive. The food quality has slipped some for past visits. I ordered the jalapeño poppers as an appetizer and it was 5 small poppers for almost 7 dollars, wasnt worth it. Salad was lack luster, loaded baked potato was just some butter and sour cream and that was an upcharge. The steak was bland, i asked for medium- rare and it was rare, The tables and chairs are old, had to switch chairs with a party member because their chair rocked too much from the uneven floor. Mens restroom is disrepair and is in need of an upgrade.
