From best to worst in 90 minutes. Menu peaked at gnocchi and zuppa, then fell off a cliff with entrees. “Chef” needs the most rudimentary restaurant and people skills. I felt sorry for our terrific waitress; even with the cardboard (“chicken”) marsala comped, the bill was over $100 — paid, but no tip. If they had had chicken marsala delivered from Pizza on Main down the street, put it on a plate, and said no more, it would have been a great dinner.

Disclaimer: We went here within 2 weeks of opening. This place has a lot of potential, provided they can work through the kinks of a newly opened restaurant.

I’ll start by saying the food was very good, but the rest needs work.

The space is tiny so make sure you have a reservation, and even then we ended up having a small wait before being seated. The prices for drinks are reasonable, but the selection is lackluster: 1 type of beer (Pieroni bottle), no liquor, and one option for each type of wine (brands like woodbridge).

When we went, it felt severely understaffed. There were 2 people doing everything on the floor: hosting, bussing, serving, etc. This would explain why it took 3 hours to work through two courses.

We realized early on that it would be slow going, so when the waitress came over for our appetizer order, we told her we were ready to put in our entire our. She would not take it, and would only let us order our appetizers.

All around, I would go back and try it again; but I will certainly give them some time to iron out the wrinkles a little bit more.
