My experience at the Queen Street Burger King Drive-Thru on [Insert Date] was ruined by the supervisor, Kenna.
The entire transaction was completed using the drive-thru speaker and windows; we had no face-to-face contact with staff until the final payment window. At the speaker, we provided our coupon code as requested, and the cashier accepted it.
Once we paid and received our food, Supervisor Kenna (female with blue/purple hair) aggressively demanded the physical coupon. When we explained we only had a picture (since the cashier never informed us the physical copy was required at the window), Kenna became nasty and hostile.
She yelled at us, threatening, ‘Next time you do this we won’t give you the food.’
The cashier who took our payment was incredibly kind and even apologized to us for Kenna’s behavior. The problem is not the coupon—it’s that a supervisor with zero customer service etiquette is allowed to threaten and yell at paying customers in the drive-thru.
Management needs to address Kenna’s training immediately. Her behavior is completely unacceptable.
She could have explained us the policy calmly and nicely as expected from any Burger King employee, especially a “supervisor”, but instead this person yelled at us with a nasty unprofessional attitude.
By the way it was our first time ordering here and it won’t be a “Next time”!
